Singer’s performance on March 26th has been rescheduled for May 3rd
Britney Spears announced that she has rescheduled her March 26th Mohegan Sun Arena show for Sunday, May 3rd. The reschedule is due to the grand size of the show’s production, including a 360˚ stage, acrobatic apparatus and intense visual effects. The current tour routing for the Mohegan Sun date does not allow enough time for travel and the needed production set-up time. Her highly-anticipated The Circus Starring Britney Spears 2009 Tour will be playing Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday May 3rd. Saturday’s show begins at 8:00pm and Sunday’s show begins at 7:30pm.
Ticket holders are advised to retain their tickets for the Thursday, March 26th show as they will be honored on the rescheduled date of Sunday, May 3rd. Refunds are available at the point of purchase.

Taylor Swift appears live in Mohegan Sun Arena on August 28th with special guests Kellie Pickler and Gloriana
In her first headlining tour, multi-platinum selling singer and songwriter Taylor Swift will take the stage at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, August 28th at 7:30pm with special guests Kellie Pickler and Gloriana.
Tickets are $59.50 and $49.50 and go on sale Friday, March 20th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Fearless, Taylor Swift’s second studio album, was released in November 2008 and scored the biggest-selling debut week in 2008 for a female artist in any genre and was the year’s fourth biggest debut. Her previous release, 2006’s Taylor Swift, surpassed triple-platinum status, spent more than twenty weeks in the #1 position atop Billboard’s Country CD sales chart, and she became the first female solo artist in Country music history to write or co-write every song on a platinum-selling debut CD. Fearless is the first album since Santana’s Supernatural to top the Billboard 200 for eleven non-consecutive weeks.
Country singer Kellie Pickler is touring in support of her second album, 2008’s Kellie Pickler. The album, which follows 2006’s gold-certified Small Town Girl, produced three Top 20 singles. Pickler is the second American Idol alumna to have a #1 album on the U.S. Country Album chart.
Gloriana recently released their first single, “Wild at Heart” in January. The band, made up of four uniquely talented musicians, will take their act nationwide with their upcoming self-titled debut album later this year.

Hilarious comedian performs in the Arena on April 25th & 26th
Fresh on the heels of the announcement of his Comedy Central special and comedy album, ISolated INcident, comedian Dane Cook has now announced plans to take his material on the road with the ‘ISolated INcident – Global Thermo Comedy Tour.’ Touted as the largest comedy tour in history, Cook will travel within the U.S., Canada, Africa, Brazil, Australia, U.K. and Germany. Cook is kicking off this massive tour with two shows at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th. Saturday night’s show begins at 10:00pm and Sunday’s show begins at 7:00pm.
