Celebrating Club/Dance music live on Saturday, February 21st
Mohegan Sun Arena will once again host the top talents of Freestyle Dance music when Freestyle Extravaganza IV takes over on Saturday, February 21st at 8:00pm.

The 2008 Freestyle show brought together some of the best-remembered and most loved Dance music of the 80s, and the 2009 edition continues the revival. Born in the club scene of New York City during the end of the Disco era, Freestyle went on to capture a generation with its irresistible beats and marked the start of the Hip-Hop sound.
Performers include Sisqó, with hit songs like “Thong Song” and “Incomplete,” CeCe Penniston with “Finally” and K7/TKA is in the lineup with their hit song “Scars of Love.” C+C Music Factory featuring Freedom Williams will perform “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” and The Cover Girls perform “Show Me” and “Wishing On A Star.” George Lamond performs the hit song “Bad of the Heart” and Fascination are sure to bring “Why You Wanna Go” to the Arena stage. Additional performers include Noel with “Silent Morning,” Cynthia with “Change On Me,” Coro with “Where Are You Tonight,” Hanson and Davis with “Hungry For Your Love,” Special Ed with “I Got It Made,” Slick Rick with “Children’s Story,” Doug E. Manic Monday dance party in the Wolf Den begins in January
Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den will be Southeastern Connecticut’s newest place to see and be seen on Monday nights when DJ Mike takes the stage to spin all your favorite classic hits. Beginning at 8:00pm on Monday, January 5th patrons will have the opportunity to get their week started right by cutting the rug on Monday nights in the Wolf Den. Admission to DJ in the Den is free, but all patrons must be 21 or over.
DJ Mike got his start as a DJ in 1992, about 1,600 gigs ago. He honed his skills in downtown Hartford at one of Connecticut’s largest and most successful nightclubs, The Brickyard. For over seven years he performed to crowds of over 600 people a night, and to over 6000 people at the annual outdoor Hartford Block Parties. With a vast music knowledge that is second to none, DJ Mike has amassed a song collection that spans from the 50’s to today’s current Top 40. But more importantly, knowing what to play for all generations and all settings is what has made him one of the most sought-after DJ’s in not only the areas top clubs, but at all the top banquet facilities in New England.

Due to overwhelming demand, Britney Spears with special guest the Pussycat Dolls adds a second show date in Mohegan Sun Arena. The Circus Starring Britney Spears 2009 Tour will be live in Mohegan Sun on Saturday, May 2nd at 8:00pm.

Legendary supergroup Fleetwood Mac will be embarking on their first concert tour in five years and will be playing Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, March 14th at 8:00pm.
