UNCASVILLE, CT (October 5, 2015) — Multi-platinum singer and actress Selena Gomez announced today she will embark on her worldwide “Revival Tour” in 2016. The first leg will find Gomez traveling to 41 cities across the United States and Canada. The tour will kick off in Las Vegas on May 6th and will be making its way to Mohegan Sun Arena for a Sunday, May 29th concert set for 7:30pm. Additional international territories and dates are expected at a later time.

Amy Schumer is the creator, star, writer and executive producer of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning Inside Amy Schumer, the popular Comedy Central television series which premiered in April 2013 to the network’s highest season premiere ratings of the year. Schumer’s provocative and hilariously wicked mind is on full display as she explores topics revolving around sex, relationships and the general clusterf*ck that is life through a series of scripted vignettes, stand-up comedy and man-on-the-street interviews. The show, whose fourth season premieres next year, won the Primetime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Variety Sketch Show” at this year’s ceremony, and also earned Schumer a nomination for “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.” She also won the Critics’ Choice Television Award for “Best Actress in a Comedy Series.”
Schumer can next be seen in her one-hour HBO comedy special, Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo, directed by Chris Rock premiering on October 17th.
Schumer’s first book was recently purchased by the Simon & Schuster imprint Gallery Books and is set to be released in late 2016. It was the highest advance that the publishing house has given to a female author.
Schumer’s hit one-hour stand-up special for Comedy Central, Mostly Sex Stuff, stands as the network’s highest rated original stand-up special since 2011. She was also one of the featured comedians on Comedy Central’s Roast of Roseanne, which followed her memorable and quotable performance on the 2011 Roast of Charlie Sheen.
She was recently seen in such critically acclaimed series as FX’s Louie and HBO’s Girls. Previously, Schumer had a recurring role on the third season of Adult Swim’s Delocated, and guest starred in the latest season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Additional film credits include Seeking a Friend for the End of the World starring Steve Carrell and Kiera Knightley, as well as Price Check, an independent feature opposite Parker Posey which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.
Her album Cutting placed in the Top 5 of the Billboard charts and has been included on multiple “Best Comedy Albums of the Year awards” lists.
The comic made her network debut in 2007 when she starred on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and soon after co-starred on 30 Rock and received her own Comedy Central Presents special.

George Lopez is a multi-talented entertainer whose career encompasses television, film, standup comedy and late-night television. For two seasons, Lopez hosted Lopez-Tonight, a late-night television talk show on TBS, television’s groundbreaking hit sitcom George Lopez, which ran for six seasons on ABC. Lopez has risen to become one of the premier comedic talents in the entertainment industry and known for his extensive charity work with various foundations.
Charlie Murphy became a household name as a cast member of Chappelles Show when he recanted his True Hollywood Stories of celebrity and excess, however he has spent the past two decades solidifying his position in Hollywood as a true acting and writing talent. UNCASVILLE, Conn. — (September 18, 2015) – Comedic headliners and rising talent have a
new home: COMIX Mohegan Sun, serving up live comedy and craft beer. The new 8,000-square-foot comedy club and craft beer bar located in Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth will officially open on October 7th. A grand opening celebration with ribbon cutting is scheduled for Friday, October 9th.
COMIX is the newest venue at Mohegan Sun and the only location hosting live stand-up performances Wednesday-Sunday in a 325-seat club designed exclusively for comedy. In addition to delivering cutting-edge shows, the custom-designed craft beer bar will serve 24 local, regional and national favorite craft beers on tap, more than 50 bourbon whiskeys, a full cocktail selection and a diverse bar-food menu.
