Cedric “The Entertainer” is best known for crowd-pleasing performances in hit films such as Barbershop, Be Cool, The Original Kings of Comedy, and the top-ranking Madagascar animated franchise, just to name a few. Cedric will be seen next on the big screen in the much-anticipated comedy feature BARBERSHOP 3 slated for release in early 2016. He is executive producer and stars in the current hit comedy series THE SOUL MAN on TV Land. Cedric also stars in the buzzed about new reality series, CEDRIC’S BARBER BATTLE, which debuted on The CW on June 29th.
Eddie Griffin has received worldwide recognition through his numerous stand-up comedy specials, movies, television appearances, music and comedy albums for not only acting, but writing and producing as well. Most notably, Def Comedy Jam, HBO One Night Stand, Malcolm & Eddie for which he won the NAACP Image Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series award, Undercover Brother, My Baby’s Daddy, Dysfunktional Family, Norbit, Freedom Of Speech, A Fool And His Money play, You Can Tell Em’ I Said It and soon to be released Mucho Dinero and An American Hero. D.L. He appeared in the TV drama Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and was recently cast in the upcoming NBC drama Heart Matters. He is currently starring in his ninth stand-up comedy special Clear.
George Lopez is a multi-talented entertainer whose career encompasses television, film, standup comedy and late-night television. For two seasons, Lopez hosted Lopez-Tonight, a late-night television talk show on TBS, television’s groundbreaking hit sitcom George Lopez, which ran for six seasons on ABC. Lopez has risen to become one of the premier comedic talents in the entertainment industry and known for his extensive charity work with various foundations.
Charlie Murphy became a household name as a cast member of Chappelles Show when he recanted his True Hollywood Stories of celebrity and excess, however he has spent the past two decades solidifying his position in Hollywood as a true acting and writing talent. He’s appeared in Lottery Ticket with Bow Wow and Ice Cube, Our Family Wedding with Forrest Whitaker and The Perfect Holiday with Queen Latifah and Terrence Howard. UNCASVILLE, Conn. — (September 18, 2015) – Comedic headliners and rising talent have a
new home: COMIX Mohegan Sun, serving up live comedy and craft beer. The new 8,000-square-foot comedy club and craft beer bar located in Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth will officially open on October 7th. A grand opening celebration with ribbon cutting is scheduled for Friday, October 9th.
COMIX is the newest venue at Mohegan Sun and the only location hosting live stand-up performances Wednesday-Sunday in a 325-seat club designed exclusively for comedy. In addition to delivering cutting-edge shows, the custom-designed craft beer bar will serve 24 local, regional and national favorite craft beers on tap, more than 50 bourbon whiskeys, a full cocktail selection and a diverse bar-food menu.

Mohegan Sun Arena welcomes the ‘The Ghosts of Christmas Eve’ Tour on November 27th for two shows
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 14, 2015) – Earlier this month, Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) announced the dates of its 2015 Winter Tour based on the group’s cherished Yuletide story, “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve.” Now, TSO is pleased to announce that each concert ticket will come with a digital copy of the group’s highly-anticipated upcoming studio album, Letters From The Labyrinth (Lava Records/Republic Records). Letters From The Labyrinth, which is set to be released November 13th, 2015 is TSO’s first full-length album since 2009’s Night Castle and fans who purchase tickets to the 2015 Winter Tour will be among the first to hear it.

Letters From The Labyrinth is a bold, conceptually provocative song cycle that finds TSO creator, lyricist and composer Paul O’Neill along with his composers, arrangers, singers and players pushing the proverbial envelope yet again — this time with what he calls TSO’s “first straight-ahead album” in the wake of its signature rock operas. Fans of the rock operas will still be sated, as the 2015 Winter Tour is based on TSO’s multi-platinum DVD and long running PBS fundraiser, the “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve.” This enchanting story follows the journey of a young runaway who breaks into an abandoned vaudeville theater seeking shelter from the cold, and the ghostly visions she experiences from that concert hall’s past. “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” features such lasting crowd-pleasers as “Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24,” “O’ Come All Ye Faithful,” “Good King Joy,” “Christmas Canon,” “Music Box Blues,” “Promises To Keep” and “This Christmas Day.” TSO will take the 2015 Winter Tour to 60 cities across North America to perform 100 shows.
This year’s tour follows the massive success of The 2014 Winter Tour, which grossed more than $51 million in just 52 days, played to nearly 1,000,000 fans.
