Massive world tour set to kick off in North America on February 15, 2015 and includes a staggering 61 dates in cities throughout the U.S. and Canada; Mohegan Sun Arena to play host August 15th

UNCASVILLE, CT (November 5, 2014) — Multi-platinum selling Rock band NICKELBACK are set to embark on a massive headlining tour in 2015 in support of their eighth full-length studio album, No Fixed Address [Republic Records]. The new album is out November 17th and can be pre-ordered HERE. The band announced the extensive No Fixed Address Tour today in front of a sold-out crowd who packed the House of Blues Sunset in West Hollywood, Calif. Proceeds from this special sold-out show will go to the International House of Blues Music Forward Foundation’s grants program. Produced and promoted exclusively by Live Nation, the No Fixed Address Tour marks the beginning of NICKELBACK’s 12th tour and will see the band performing in 61 cities across North America starting Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2015, in Allentown, Pa. at the PPL Center and winding down in Atlanta, Ga. on August 29th at the Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood. Mohegan Sun Arena is scheduled for a Saturday, August 15th concert beginning at 8:00pm and will feature special guests Lifehouse.
Tickets are $115.00, $95.00 and $25.00 and go on sale Saturday, November 15th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Legendary Jersey Boys singer becomes 27th performer to receive Mohegan Sun’s Walk of Fame star!
UNCASVILLE, CT (November 4, 2014) — Mohegan Sun is pleased to announce that Frankie Valli was honored yesterday with a Walk of Fame award. Taking place on the afternoon before his show on Sunday, November 2nd, the legendary singer now joins an elite list of entertainers who have stars lining the forecourt of the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Accepting the honor before a big crowd of fans, Valli said “when they told me I was going to be awarded this Walk of Fame I was very grateful, especially as it’s coming from one of my favorite facilities ever.”
There’s something about Frankie Valli’s music that makes young people of every generation want to get up and dance. Amid the Disco era, the Seasons hit it big with “Who Loves You,” which reached #3 in 1975, and “December 1963 (Oh, What a Night), a No. 1 record in 1976. On the other side of the Atlantic, “You’re Ready Now” and “The Night,” which didn’t do anything in the U.S., emerged from dance clubs in the north of England to become huge hits in Europe. Two decades later, in 1994, a dance club remix of “December 1963” climbed to #14 in the U.S. on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2000, a French-language rap version of “December 1963” went to #1 in Paris. And a few years ago—a remix of the Four Seasons’ 1967 hit “Beggin’ ” became the #1 dance record in Britain.

UNCASVILLE, CT (November 4, 2014) — Dancing with the Stars, ABC’s leading entertainment show, produced by BBC Worldwide Productions, is bringing a one-of-a-kind touring production to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, January 9th for an 8:00pm show . The official 90-minute live show, DANCING WITH THE STARS: LIVE!, produced by Faculty Productions in association with BBC Worldwide, comes to Mohegan Sun showcasing some of the faces from the show you know and love.

Concert hits Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, January 30th
UNCASVILLE, CT (November 3, 2014) — From their official website, LINKIN PARK has announced The Hunting Party Tour, featuring special guests RISE AGAINST and OF MICE & MEN. The tour kicks off Thursday January 15th in Orlando, Florida, and concludes February 14th in Edmonton, Canada. The Hunting Party Tour heads to Mohegan Sun Arena on January 30th for a 7:30pm show.

The tour will hit several cities that haven’t seen Linkin Park in the past several years, if ever. “Rock music was born in these towns, and for some reason these places tend to get overlooked much more than they should. We want our fans there to know how much they matter to us,” says Chester Bennington, lead vocalist of Linkin Park. “After crossing paths with these guys at festivals around the world over the past decade, we’re excited to finally share the road with Linkin Park,” adds Tim Mcllrath, lead vocalist/ guitarist of Rise Against. “We think this will be a great experience for all our collective fans.”

What: Longtime Mohegan Sun Arena performer and enduring singer, Frankie Valli, will be taking part in a special Walk of Fame ceremony outside the Mohegan Sun Box Office on Sunday, November 2nd at 2:00pm. The ceremony will honor Frankie with a star to be placed alongside some of Mohegan Sun Arena’s most memorable performers, some of which include Bon Jovi, KISS, Rod Stewart, Toby Keith and Taylor Swift and most recently Mötley Crüe! Frankie’s upcoming show on the night of November 2nd will mark his 7th performance at Mohegan Sun Arena while becoming the 27th entertainer inducted into the Walk of Fame.

IN DETAIL: Frankie Valli takes the Mohegan Sun Arena stage later in the evening on Sunday, November 2nd, but hours before then, he will be inducted into Mohegan Sun’s Walk of Fame. Mohegan Sun is very proud to be honoring such a longtime friend and one of the greatest American singers of our time. The special induction ceremony will be held outside the main entrance of the Arena, near the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
The award seeks to recognize those individuals who have made significant contributions to the success of Mohegan Sun as the Northeast’s premier entertainment destination. All of the individuals inducted into the Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame will have their name engraved on a plaque that will be permanently placed at the entrance to Mohegan Sun Arena.
