Mohegan Sun will celebrate the 152nd Kentucky Derby with two major events on Saturday, May 2nd — including a brand-new Sun Patio outdoor viewing party and the return of the high‑energy Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook (MSFD) experience, which will take place from 11:00am – 8:00pm. The Kentucky Derby Watch Party inside the sportsbook comes equipped with premium options that include a signature drink, a Derby-themed buffet, an official t-shirt, a commemorative mint julep glass, a Woodford Reserve-infused cigar, a daily racing program and a special appearance by international jockey, Chantal Sutherland!

Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook will transform into a hub of Derby thrills starting at 11:00am on Saturday, May 2nd. Guests will witness every heart-pounding moment of the big race, and all preliminary action on a stunning 140-foot video wall, the largest in the Northeast.
Presented by Woodford Reserve, this event offers an open bar featuring Derby Day drink specials, including the classic Mint Julep and a signature “Run for the Roses” cocktail. For a vibrant and free outdoor celebration, the popular Sun Patio located off Casino of the Earth at Mohegan Sun, will also host a Kentucky Derby watch party from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday, May 2nd. Guests 21+ can take in all the action on outdoor screens while enjoying a festive atmosphere featuring popular food trucks like Los Mariachis on Wheels and Rubino’s Full Scoop. Sportsbook betting kiosks will also be conveniently located at this outdoor viewing party. Current odds favor Paladin, Nearly and Renagade at around 6-1 odds respectively.
