Michael Jordan’s Steak House at Mohegan Sun Launches New Steaksmanship Series

The new menu, available on Friday’s & Saturday’s, features premium steak cuts (Wagyu Strip, Bone-in Ribeye & more) in three different flights, ranging from $60.00 to $223.00

UNCASVILLE, CT (October 26th, 2018) – The Steaksmanship Series is now available at Mohegan Sun inside the premier steak house in the region, Michael Jordan’s Steak House. The new special menu features “Chef’s Cuts” starting at $60.00, with the top tier, “The Legendary Flight,” checking in at $223.00. The full Steaksmanship Series can be viewed, here and they are sharable amongst couples and groups.

Starting with the Chef’s Cuts for $60.00, restaurant goers can choose either a 12oz Mishama Reserve Domestic Wagyu Strip with Shishito Pepper Au Poivre or a 14oz Linz Heritage Bone-In Cowgirl Ribeye with Balsamic Rosemary Cipollini. The next tier, “Flight 23,” comes in at $160, and features the above two cuts as well as a 6oz Savage Hill Filet Mignon with Foie Gras Butter! The last flight is aptly titled, “Legendary Flight,” as guests will be served all of the above steak cuts alongside Port Clyde Jonah Crab with Smoked Tomato Butter, Georges Bank Scallops Rockefeller and Maine Lobster with Drawn Butter.

The Steaksmanship Series is an over-the-top dining experience providing an opportunity for guests to indulge in the legendary meal. Available on Friday’s and Saturday’s, the elevated menu encompasses the most exclusive and premier cuts for steak lovers, gastronomes and celebratory dinners. The series officially kicks off on Friday, October 26th. This same weekend, Mohegan Sun Arena plays host to comedian Jim Jefferies & Marc Anthony.

At Michael Jordan’s 23.sportcafe, enjoy 23 barbeque all day! For $23.00 per person, guests can feast on ½ rack of ribs, ½ roasted chicken, cole slaw, mashed potatoes and chef’s choice of dessert. Tax and gratuity not included.

SolToro Tequila Grill
SolToro Tequila Grill is pulling up all the stops during Restaurant Week, offering a variety of selections for an appetizer and street taco entrée for $21.00 per person. For an appetizer, the choice of Mexican wontons or chicken taquitos. The street taco entrée options include pork belly, roasted duck, fried chicken, red snapper, smoked shrimp and barbacoa beef – all served with rice and beans. Tax and gratuity not included.

BALLO Italian Restaurant
During Restaurant Week, BALLO Italian Restaurant offers a three course dinner for $34.00 per person. The meal will include a first course choice of classic Caesar, arugula salata or meatballs Pomodoro; second course of chicken parmigiana, rigatoni with spicy sausage ragu, salmon or skirt steak ($15.00 supplement); and a third course of cannoli.

At Chick-fil-A, purchase a #1 combo meal with fries and a fountain drink for $7.00.

Hash House A Go Go
Hash House A Go Go will feature a three course meal sampling for $20.00, including: bacon, bacon, bacon appetizer, chicken and waffles and a slice of cheesecake.

Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville
In celebration of Restaurant Week, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville will be featuring three meals including southwest chicken salad with mixed greens, grilled chicken, black beans, roasted corn, diced tomatoes, pepper and fresh avocado tossed in a special southwestern vinaigrette topped with crispy tortilla strips and queso fresco for $10.99; spinach & artichoke dip with traditional creamy dip topped with parmesan cheese and served with tortilla chips for $8.99; and a Louisiana Cajun shrimp and grits with cheddar cheese grits topped with sautéed shrimp and a home-made andouille gravy for $15.50.

Wine and Dine Your Valentine at Mohegan Sun

This Valentine’s Day, sweep your loved ones off their feet and let Mohegan Sun’s culinary staff do the cooking with hearty gourmet dishes including Steak Diane, Bourbon Pan-Roasted Lobster Tail, Baked Stuffed Shrimp with Seafood Stuffing and Veal Porterhouse. The romantic evening will conclude with a selection of desserts located throughout the property on February 14th.
Pompeii & Caesar will offer a 16-ounce Veal Porterhouse served with Barolo Sauce, Olive Oil Whipped Potatoes, Chef’s Vegetable and a Modern Banana Split for dessert from 5:00pm to 11:00pm at $44.00 per person. Reservations are recommended.
The Longhouse will serve a Surf & Turf dish consisting of Steak Diane, Bourbon Pan-Roasted Lobster Tail, Potato Gnocchi, Roasted Baby Vegetables and a Modern Banana Split from 5:00pm to 11:00pm at $50.00 per person. Reservations are recommended.
Todd English’s Tuscany will offer a four course meal starting with Oysters with Caviar and Papaya, followed by Swordfish with Tamarind, Broccolini and Sweet Potatoes, then a Rack of Lamb with Madeira Jus, Ratatouille and Potato Purée and a dessert course of Baklava Cheesecake. The special will be offered at $60.00 and will be served from 4:00pm to 11:00pm. Reservations are recommended.
Bamboo Forest will prepare Crispy Steak and Grand Marnier Prawns for two from 5:00pm to 11:00pm at $65.00. Reservations are recommended.
Birches Bar & Grill will feature Soup du Jour or House Salad followed by Baked Stuffed Shrimp with Seafood Stuffing and a Lemon Beurre Blanc Sauce, Baby Carrots, Wild Mushroom Polenta and a Modern Banana Split from 11:30am to 1:30am at $28.00 per person.
Fidelia’s will offer a cup of Soup du Jour or Fidelia’s Side Salad with your choice of Salmon Wellington with Sauce Choron and a Sautéed Vegetable Nest at $22.00 or a 12-ounce Grilled Rib Eye Steak with Garlic Butter and Fried Shrimp along with a Sautéed Vegetable Nest at $25.00. Both are served with Dark Chocolate Raspberry Torte and Champagne Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream for dessert.
