Beginning with the recent sold-out Bruce Springsteen shows in late May, through August 31st, Hot Summer Fun at Mohegan Sun will host well over 100 shows. Fans of comedy, the Connecticut Sun, MMA, boxing and of course – live music, are in for one of the best summer lineups ever at Mohegan Sun.
This summer, Mohegan Sun Arena is set to host the likes of Katy Perry, Michael Bublé, Justin Timberlake, John Mellencamp, Queen + Adam Lambert, Lionel Richie with CeeLo Green, Kevin James, Jake Owen, Alan Jackson and The Moody Blues! And the ever-popular Wolf Den will bring in Ambrosia with John Ford Coley, Austin Webb, Hoobastank, Warrant, Dustin Lynch, The Bacon Brothers and Grand Funk Railroad this summer, among many more performers. America’s favorite comic and the star of Comedy Central’s highest-rated specials, Jeff Dunham and his beloved cast of characters are bringing his “Disorderly Conduct” worldwide tour to Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on Saturday, July 12th for an 8:00pm performance.
Tickets are $60.00 and $50.00 and go on sale Friday, March 7th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. Dunham is best-known for his famed troupe of sidekicks who are on tour with him: Walter the Grumpy Retiree, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, the beer-drinking redneck Bubba J, the manic purple creature Peanut, the spicy pepper from south of the border José Jalapeño and Peanut’s own ventriloquist dummy Little Jeff, a mini-version of the ringmaster himself. Dunham hand-crafts each character personally and brings them to life on stage.
Dunham will be traveling the globe in 2014, visiting the UK, South Africa, Australia, the Middle East and Asia. This follows his travels last year visiting Scandinavia, Belgium, the Netherlands and Iceland, where he continuously performed to sold-out arenas.
Dunham fans, better known as “Dunham Maniacs” will soon get the chance to see Achmed the Dead Terrorist like he’s never been seen before when Jeff Dunham’s first animated film Achmed Saves America premieres in March of 2014. When Achmed visits Americaville, USA, he’s mistaken for a visiting French exchange student as he plots to destroy the town and all of its “infidels”. But, once he’s exposed to the sweet things in life in America — including all-you-can-eat buffets and frozen yogurt — Achmed’s campaign of hate turns into a patriotic All-American lovefest.
Jeff Dunham’s TV specials continue to be some of the highest rated on television. When Dunham’s Comedy Central special Minding the Monsters premiered to a viewing audience of 7.5 million viewers, it became 2012’s most-watched show on the network.. Veteran Comedian & Ventriloquist becomes 26th addition to Mohegan Sun’s Walk of Fame
Mohegan Sun had the pleasure of presenting Jeff Dunham, who played Mohegan Sun Arena for the 4th time on Saturday, July 13th, with his own star on the Walk of Fame. The induction took place on Saturday, July 13th at 3:00pm in the forecourt of the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Accepting the honor before a crowd of fans, Dunham stated, “It’s a great honor to be accepting this award. I started here in The Cabaret Theatre and now it’s my 4th year performing in the Arena, I want to thank Mohegan Sun and all of you folks here today”

His DVD sales have reached seven million units, his videos have received over half a billion views on You Tube, and his live concerts have become mega-events played in front of sold-out arenas worldwide. What: Stand-up comedian Jeff Dunham will be taking part in a special Walk of Fame ceremony outside the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Dunham will have a star placed alongside some of Mohegan Sun Arena’s most beloved talents, including Bon Jovi, KISS, Rod Stewart, Toby Keith, Taylor Swift and most recently Mötley Crüe. Jeff Dunham first performed in Mohegan Sun Arena in 2009 and already, this will be his 4th time returning to the Arena. He becomes the 26th entertainer inducted into Mohegan Sun’s Walk of Fame. Mohegan Sun executives will be on hand to honor Jeff as well.

IN DETAIL: Jeff Dunham takes the Mohegan Sun Arena stage later in the evening on Saturday, July 13th, but hours before then, the comedian will be inducted into Mohegan Sun’s Walk of Fame.
