UNCASVILLE, CT (February 26, 2018) – Record-breaking, global comedy superstar, Jeff Dunham is bringing his cast of characters on the road now through spring 2018, as America’s favorite ventriloquist tours North America on his 60-city Passively Aggressive tour. The tour makes a stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, July 21st at 8:00pm.

Dunham released his latest standup special, Jeff Dunham: Relative Disaster, on Netflix in September 2017. The special features Dunham along with his ill-behaved and slightly demented posse of characters for a gleeful skewering of family and politics. Dunham and his famous cohorts Walter, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Bubba J and Peanut also consider what a new member to their already dysfunctional family could mean, putting the ‘relative’ in Relative Disaster.
Dunham, a Guinness World Record holder for “Most Tickets Sold for a Stand-up Comedy Tour,” has built an entertainment empire over years of non-stop touring and innovation. Dunham is best-known for his famed troupe of sidekicks who are on tour with him: Walter the Grumpy Retiree, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, the beer-drinking redneck Bubba J, the manic purple creature Peanut, the spicy pepper from south of the border José Jalapeño and Peanut’s own ventriloquist dummy Little Jeff, a mini-version of the ringmaster himself. Dunham hand-crafts each character personally and brings them to life on stage.
Dunham will be traveling the globe in 2014, visiting the UK, South Africa, Australia, the Middle East and Asia. This follows his travels last year visiting Scandinavia, Belgium, the Netherlands and Iceland, where he continuously performed to sold-out arenas.
Dunham fans, better known as “Dunham Maniacs” will soon get the chance to see Achmed the Dead Terrorist like he’s never been seen before when Jeff Dunham’s first animated film Achmed Saves America premieres in March of 2014. When Achmed visits Americaville, USA, he’s mistaken for a visiting French exchange student as he plots to destroy the town and all of its “infidels”. But, once he’s exposed to the sweet things in life in America — including all-you-can-eat buffets and frozen yogurt — Achmed’s campaign of hate turns into a patriotic All-American lovefest.
Jeff Dunham’s TV specials continue to be some of the highest rated on television. When Dunham’s Comedy Central special Minding the Monsters premiered to a viewing audience of 7.5 million viewers, it became 2012’s most-watched show on the network.. Veteran Comedian & Ventriloquist becomes 26th addition to Mohegan Sun’s Walk of Fame
Mohegan Sun had the pleasure of presenting Jeff Dunham, who played Mohegan Sun Arena for the 4th time on Saturday, July 13th, with his own star on the Walk of Fame. The induction took place on Saturday, July 13th at 3:00pm in the forecourt of the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Accepting the honor before a crowd of fans, Dunham stated, “It’s a great honor to be accepting this award. I started here in The Cabaret Theatre and now it’s my 4th year performing in the Arena, I want to thank Mohegan Sun and all of you folks here today”
Jeff Dunham’s television specials and series have been the highest rated programming in Comedy Central history. His DVD sales have reached seven million units, his videos have received over half a billion views on You Tube, and his live concerts have become mega-events played in front of sold-out arenas worldwide.
