New York strip steak, mashed Boursin Yukon potatoes, sautéed broccolini and three grilled shrimp tossed in a demi-glace for $100. Pair the delicious meal with a Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Martini for $16, or half bottles of Moët & Chandon for $40 each. BALLO Italian Restaurant is also kicking off the holiday a little early with dining specials that run from Friday, February 9th through Thursday, February 15th. Specials include Frutti di Mare, made of house-cured salmon, braised octopus, Sicilian blood orange and Calabrian chili for $22, and a special Surf & Turf made with an 8-oz. filet mignon, burro bianco poached lobster and roasted asparagus for $72. For dessert, guests can enjoy strawberry & white chocolate cannoli for $12.
Over at Todd English’s Tuscany, guests can enjoy an Arugula Avocado Salad for $16, made with baby arugula, sliced avocado, halved grape heirloom tomatoes, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese and topped with a refreshing lemon vinaigrette. Specials also include Lobster Ravioli with black truffle cream, fried shallots and chives for $40, and Steak Frites, complete with a 10-oz. hanger steak, skin-on fries and hollandaise for $45.
Those looking for a lavish dining experience can look no further than Michael Jordan’s Steak House. Roasted Oysters with Parmesan breadcrumbs, black garlic truffle butter and pickled beets are available for $22, and the main course is Chateaubriand for Two, featuring 30-day butter-aged 22-oz. filet mignon paired with a truffled pomme puree and mushroom bordelaise for $130. Toast to the night with Vollereaux Brut champagne for two for $25.

Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House is serving up their special Marry Me Chicken – sautéed chicken in a sun-dried tomato cream sauce with spinach, bell peppers, Parmesan cheese and fresh basil over a bed of spaghetti for $26. Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House’s version of Surf & Turf includes a 14-oz. New York strip steak topped with chimichurri sauce, a 6-oz. lobster tail, roasted potatoes and Brussels sprouts for $70. Dessert is Fried Ice Cream consisting of deep-fried ice cream coated in Corn Flakes, topped with strawberry compote, chocolate rings and whipped cream for $12.
A prix fixe dinner for two at Jasper White’s Summer Shack is $100 and starts with the choice of a shareable appetizer. Options include Cocktail Shrimp, Mussels with white wine, garlic and herbs, Rhode Island Style Calamari served with cherry peppers and garlic butter, or Sesame Crusted Tuna served with daikon radish and bang bang sauce. Next up is a choice of either a mixed green salad with house vinaigrette or a cup of chowder. For the entrée, options include Shack Baked Stuffed Shrimp served with lobster sauce and white rice, Grilled Tenderloin Steak Tip Frites topped with garlic butter and served with fries, Grilled Salmon with a side of roasted herb potatoes, grilled asparagus and beurre blanc, and Herb Roasted Chicken with mashed potatoes, broccoli and gravy. Halloween festivities to kick off Saturday, October 14th

Halloween gets an early start at Mohegan Sun this year when The Lalas Halloween Burlesque Show hits The Cabaret Theatre on Saturday, October 14th for an equally hilarious and sexy show. On Friday, October 27th, The Warren’s Seekers of the Supernatural Phantasma-Con – VIP Party takes place from 7:00pm – 11:00pm and will feature the only opportunity to take photos of the haunted artifacts all weekend. A VIP ticket includes admittance to David Merlin – The Paranormalist show at 7:00pm in the Earth Ballroom, admittance to the VIP Party immediately following Merlin’s show, two (2) ticket vouchers for soft drinks and more! A Mother’s Day meal at BALLO Italian Restaurant starts with the choice of a classic caprese salad topped with aged balsamico and paired with focaccia bread, or a mista salad with marinated shrimp, eggplant caponata, roasted red pepper, grilled corn, marinated & slow roasted tomatoes and arugula topped with a lemon basil vinaigrette. Michael Jordan’s Steak House is serving a three course meal that starts with colossal crab cocktail made of lump crab meat, Jonah crab claw, Meyer lemon vinaigrette and avocado. The main course is surf & turf with a 7 oz. filet mignon, stuffed lobster tail, asparagus and roasted tomato hollandaise. Dessert is refreshing mixed berries topped with granola crumble, whipped cream and mint.
Over at MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill, Mom can enjoy tomato bruschetta with beefsteak tomato, red onion, garlic, pesto, parmesan and a balsamic reduction. Dinner is seafood stuffed salmon made with Black Pearl salmon topped with hollandaise and a side of pesto mashed potatoes. A three course meal at SolToro starts with a beet salad made with arugula, jalapeño, Boursin cheese and honey chipotle vinaigrette. The main course is a mixed grill with ancho chile filet mignon, poblano cream cheese chicken breast, achiote pork tenderloin, chile glaze and a side of fried plantains. For dessert, devour an apple cinnamon chimichanga with Kahlua, vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. The Mother’s Day cocktail at SolToro is a blood orange mimosa with cava, Solerno blood orange liqueur and blood orange sorbet.
