Rock & Roll legends to play the Arena on May 9th
Live Nation announced today that due to overwhelming demand, the highly acclaimed RUSH Clockwork Angels Tour will return to North America including a May 9th date at Mohegan Sun Arena.
Tickets are $96.00 and $76.00 and go on sale Monday, January 28th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. Rush’s 20th studio album, Clockwork Angels has earned rapturous accolades by fans and press alike since its release June 12th of last year. Describing Clockwork Angels as “an extremely accomplished piece of music composed and performed absolutely flawlessly” by The Quietus; Q magazine called the taut songcraft “utterly engaging”; Rolling Stone declared “the power-trio interplay could put guys half their age in the burn ward”, while All Music Guide succinctly summed up “Clockwork Angels demonstrates why, after 36 years, Rush’s fan base continues to grow. Reprise Records’ Green Day have announced new dates of their “¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ!” Tour. The full-scale North American tour will now Rock Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, April 6th at 8:00pm.
“We want to thank everyone for hanging in with us for the last few months,” said the members of Green Day. “We are very excited to hit the road and see all of you again, though we regret having to cancel more shows.”
Tickets are still valid for the new date. At the chance you cannot attend the concert on this new date, a refund of your ticket purchase is possible via the point of purchase. The popular, world ranked junior middleweight contender Delvin “EL Peligro” Rodriguez battles George “Comanche Boy” Tahdooahnippah on Friday, February 15th in the ten round main event of ESPN Friday Night Fights at Mohegan Sun.
