Hilarious comedian performs in the Arena on Friday, April 3rd
Talk-show host and stand-up comedian Joel McHale is set to deliver his hysterical brand of humor live in Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, April 3rd at 8:00pm.

As the current host of E!’s enormously popular celebrity news show The Soup, Joel McHale got his start in show business back in the 90s as part of a sketch-comedy group in downtown Seattle. Since then McHale has been on such TV staples as CSI: Miami, Will & Grace, Pushing Daisies, a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Countdown with Keith Olbermann and on radio’s The Adam Carolla Show. Next up McHale is starring opposite Matt Damon and Scott Bakula in the Steven Soderbergh directed film The Informant.

Star and co-creator of FX’s hit drama Rescue Me, Denis Leary got his start in show biz as a stand-up comedian in Boston back in the early 80s. Leary has since been nominated as an actor for both a Golden Globe and an Emmy, and recently released his first book titled Why We Suck: A Feel Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid.

Since coming together in 2004, four of the greatest voices in the world, David Miller, Carlos Marín, Urs Buhler and Sébastien Izambard have spearheaded an entire musical genre by bringing the sound of Opera to the world of popular music. With over twenty-two million albums sold to date, Il Divo continues to confirm performances around the world as part of their massive touring plans for 2009 in support of their fifth album The Promise which is approaching platinum status in the U.S. The new show will be staged and choreographed by William Baker (Kylie Minogue, Jamiroquai) on a state-of-the-art set, with tour wardrobes designed by Giorgio Armani, featuring outfits from Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani and Armani Collezioni collections.
The show will feature repertoire from their five albums and several new songs, with Il Divo on stage the entire evening. They will perform for approximately ninety minutes with a twenty minute intermission integrated into the set (there will be no support).

Fall Out Boy has announced the dates for the ‘Believers Never Die Part Deux’ tour, the band’s 2009 headline arena tour, and they will be stopping at Mohegan Sun Arena on Wednesday, April 29th at 6:30pm. Supporting Fall Out Boy will be Cobra Starship, All Time Low, Metro Station and Hey Monday.

The Killers have announced a second leg of dates for their current tour in support of the band’s latest opus, Day & Age, which surfaced last fall. The Killers will perform live at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, May 9th at 8:00pm.

Released in September, the album peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200 chart, and has sold almost a half-million copies in the US, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
