Location serves as the chain’s fifth restaurant in Connecticut
UNCASVILLE, CT (August 2, 2016) – Local residents who have been craving the original Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich and signature Waffle Potato Fries® are in luck, as the chain’s fifth location in Connecticut is set to open at Mohegan Sun this fall. The new location will be located across from Carlo’s Bakery in Casino of the Earth and near a future entrance to Earth Tower, opening this fall. The restaurant joins the 44 other dining options available on site. The restaurant will also be part of the family of more than 2,000 Chick-fil-A restaurants across 43 states and Washington, D.C. when the Atlanta-based chicken chain opens its doors this fall.
Chick-fil-A is known for its menu of fresh, hand-crafted food that offers a variety of options for guests. Signature items include a hand-breaded, pressure-cooked, boneless chicken breast sandwich, Waffle Potato Fries and hand-spun milkshakes. Chick-fil-A uses only premium ingredients and makes many of its menu items from scratch in the restaurant daily, including fresh-squeezed lemonade and hand-chopped salads.
Like all Chick-fil-A restaurants, the chicken served at Chick-fil-A at Mohegan Sun will be 100 percent whole breast meat, without any fillers, hormones or additives. Each chicken breast is hand-breaded to order and pressure cooked in 100 percent refined peanut oil, which is naturally trans-fat- and cholesterol-free. By the end of 2019, every Chick-fil-A restaurant will serve chicken raised with no antibiotics ever.
“We’re very excited to be welcoming Chick-fil-A as a new restaurant offering for guests here at Mohegan Sun. They’re an extremely popular restaurant, with some of the best tasting menu options you can find anywhere. Their commitment to their team members and top quality guest service is in alignment with our culture and values. We can’t wait to open this fall,” Said Mohegan Sun’s President and General Manager, Ray Pineault.
With a long-standing tradition in the restaurant industry for setting the highest standards in customer service, Chick-fil-A ranked first for customer satisfaction in the Limited Service Restaurants Industry by the American Customer Satisfaction Index for 2015. The company has also earned recognition as one of America’s “Most Inspiring Companies” by Forbes Magazine, one of America’s “Top 20 Most Admired Brands” by The Harris Poll, “Top Fast Food Chicken Chain” – for best chicken sandwich, customer service and cleanliness – by Consumer Reports and the No. 1 best-rated quick-service restaurant chain by Sandelman, among other honors.
A job fair for Chick-fil-A will be held at Mohegan Sun this fall. For job inquiries and opportunities, please visit Metzculinary.com/chickfila or contact Jose Cazares at [email protected]
