Don’t miss Mohegan Sun’s free gift giveaways. Each Monday starting at 9:00am, the first 3,000 guests over sixty with a Player’s Club card will receive a free gift (the gift varies each week) by visiting the Summer Coat Check located in Casino of the Earth.

Rise and shine to Dunkin’ Donuts with a free doughnut with the purchase of any medium coffee. Guests sixty years or older can stop by Jasper White’s Summer Shack Express and enjoy a Fried Fish Sandwich, a cup of Clam Chowder and soft drink for $15.00 (includes tax).
As if that isn’t enough, a delightful serving of infinite proportions will be offered at SolToro Tequila Grill with a special $19.95 Infinita Fajita which includes endless Chicken, Steak or Shrimp Fajitas.
Lunch and dinner is a lay-up at Geno’s Fast Break and Michael Jordan’s .23 sportcafe, as when you buy one entrée, you get another at half price. And over at Seasons and Sunburst Buffets, guests sixty-plus can enjoy two-for-one specials. At The Shops at Mohegan Sun, various stores are offering discounts including 20% off any autographed item at America’s Memories, 20% off entire purchase at The Old Farmer’s Almanac General Store a 10% discount at Margaritaville’s Smuggler’s Hold and 10% off all men’s and women’s clothing at The Golf Shop.
Over at Spin Street, guests will get 10% off all books. Additional specials include a free small baby jar free with a purchase of a large regular-priced Housewarmer jar at Yankee Candle. Free Entertainment and Mid-Day Performances
Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den lineup will be jam-packed with timeless acts including two special performances on select Mondays at 12:00pm to 12:45pm and 1:15pm to 2:00pm.
On January 4th, The Glamour Girls will play a wide selection of 50s through 70s hits. Additionally, Dietician and Lifestyle Expert, Mary Ann Nash, will be speaking on ways to achieve a healthy lifestyle following The Glamour Girls’ performance at 2:30pm.
Phil Dirt & The Dozers will pay homage to the 50s and 60s Rock and Roll era on January 11th. The Daddio’s will take the stage to play various 40s through 70s hits on January 18th. Rick K. and The Allnighters will perform their renditions of the 50s through the 70s on February 1st. Continuing the 50s and 70s sound will be The Main Street Cruisers on February 8th.
The Wolf Den plays host to “Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker” Patti Stanger on February 15th at 1:00pm, as she hosts a special Singles’ Boot Camp. Attendees will receive priceless tips and tricks on finding and keeping the perfect mate. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Strike it Rich with Guaranteed Slot Tournaments
The action heats up with $5,000 Slot Tournaments-Minimum-Guaranteed on January 25th and February 22nd. Registration for the $10.00 buy-in slot tournaments will be held on the day of each tournament from 8:00am to 4:00pm across from Birches Bar & Grill in Casino of the Earth. Tournaments will be filled on a first come, first-served basis.

$150,000 in Cash Prizes set for January 2nd as well as a Free Slot Play Frenzy on December 27th
As the New Year rolls in, Mohegan Sun will be awarding guests a chance to win their share of $150,000 in the $150,000 Year To Win Giveaway. In addition, on December 27th, a Free Slot Play Frenzy will allow guests to double their money at their favorite slot machines.
The action kicks off on Saturday, December 26th with Mohegan Sun’s $150,000 Year to Win Giveaway. Simply play your favorite slot machines or present your card at any table game to earn entries daily from 6:00am on Saturday, December 26th through 5:00pm on Saturday, January 2nd. New Year’s Eve celebrations at Mohegan Sun bring fun for everyone with a variety of live entertainment, free giveaways, dining specials and exclusive parties at Mohegan After Dark’s Night Club, bars and lounges.

Mohegan Sun will kick off the night of celebration at 5:00pm as complementary top hats, tiaras and noisemakers are distributed Mohegan Sun’s coat check & valet locations throughout the property to all guests. J. Geils Band returns to Connecticut for the first time in over ten years for a very special New Year’s Eve concert in Mohegan Sun Arena on December 31st, at 9:00pm.

Vice President of Player Development and Executive Host of Poker also added
Mohegan Sun is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Ian Davison to Vice President of Table Games. Davison is a passionate day-one employee who recently served as Director of Table Games. In his position, Davison will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of over 300 table games and overseeing 2,000 employees. He will also be responsible for maintaining maximum gaming product revenue by effectively identifying proper product mixture, positioning and pricing levels. Davison has over 34 years of experience in the casino industry and, throughout his career, has worked closely with various departments in the daily operations for Slots, Accounting, Human Resources and Marketing.
He began his career in England in 1975 and then worked eleven years at Paradise Island, Bahamas followed by a position with Trump Plaza in Atlantic City. He joined Mohegan Sun upon opening of the original Casino of the Earth in 1996 as Director of Table Games.
In addition to Davison’s promotion, Mohegan Sun is also pleased to welcome James McMackin as Vice President of Player Development and Jonathan Hogan to Executive Host of Poker.
In his new role, McMackin will focus on attracting and introducing new customers to Mohegan Sun while also staying involved with the marketing strategies and creative processes in place for existing patrons. McMackin started his professional career at Trump Castle, Atlantic City in 1993 where he was part of the management team for the marina department as well as serving in a marketing capacity as a Casino Host. In 2000, McMackin transitioned to Caesars, Atlantic City where he took on roles as Director of Player Development/Casino Hosts. Just before arriving at Mohegan Sun, McMackin worked at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City as Director of Player Development. McMackin has sixteen years of experience in the casino industry.
Hogan is the newest member to Mohegan Sun’s Poker Room. As Executive Host of Poker, he will cater to new and existing poker players ensuring their visiting and gaming needs are met. Along with an extensive amount of customer relations, Hogan will also focus on various sales & marketing components for Mohegan Sun’s poker room. Hogan’s experience includes Front Office Manager at Wyndham Midtown Atlanta Hotel where he worked from 2000 – 2003. He later took on duties as General Manager at Café Kaydance in Norwich, CT from 2005 – 2007. From there, he joined Mohegan Sun as Casino Host and Executive Host.
