$600 No Limit Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament to take place November 19th – 22nd
UNCASVILLE, CT (November 8, 2024) – Poker enthusiasts will have a chance to raise the stakes this month as Mohegan Sun’s Fall Showdown Tournament takes place from Tuesday, November 19th through Friday, November 22nd. This no limit Texas Hold’em poker tournament has a $100,000 guarantee with a pay structure that awards the top 12%. Entry fee for players is $600 and participants will begin with 30,000 in tournament chips with an option to purchase a 5,000 chip dealer add-on for $10. On-site registration will take place in the Mohegan Sun Poker Room one hour before the start of each flight and will remain open until the beginning of level nine.
Fall Showdown Satellite Tournaments, which provide players a shot at winning a seat to the Fall Showdown main event, are also taking place on Mondays, November 11th and 18th at 6:00pm and Thursday, November 14th at 11:00am. Entry for these satellite tournaments is $155. Players will begin with 15,000 in tournament chips and play will continue until all winners are declared. Players will have a one in five chance in these special tournaments to advance to Mohegan Sun’s Fall Showdown Tournament!

UNCASVILLE, CT (November 7, 2024) – Those looking to skip the cooking this Thanksgiving can do so in style at Mohegan Sun as TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge, Todd English’s Tuscany, and The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House will feature savory Thanksgiving specials on Thursday, November 28th! Additionally, Michael Jordan’s Steak House, MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill, Sol Toro, Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana are also offering Thanksgiving Specials, and at The Shops at Mohegan Sun, Portal and Chocolux roll out deals for the Holiday season.
TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge will be offering special Roasted Duck Dumplings with Szechuan garlic gravy, spiced fig, and plum chutney for $25.
Those looking for a full three course meal can head over to Todd English’s Tuscany where they’ll be offering a special prix fixe menu for $50. For the first course, guests can enjoy a Wood-roasted Pear and Gorgonzola Salad made with candied walnut, pomegranate reduction, arugula, and balsamic vinaigrette. The main course will consist of Sage-brined Turkey served with potato stuffing, roasted root vegetables, sweet potato with pecan crumble, bacon Dijon Brussels peddles, grappa cranberry sauce, and sage turkey gravy. For the third and final course, guests can indulge in Pecan Bread Pudding with vanilla gelato.
The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House will be offering special Turkey Sliders for $15, a Roast Turkey Dinner for $32, and a specialty dessert for $12. The Turkey Sliders are made up of turkey breast, cheddar cheese, and a horseradish cranberry sauce on a brioche bun. The Roast Turkey Dinner will feature house roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, sauteed peas, green beans, and cauliflower served with apple stuffing.
Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana’s brand-new fall special Quattro Formaggio, which is available now for a limited time, features crushed Italian tomatoes, mozzarella, Asiago, ricotta, and Pecorino Romano cheese with olive oil atop their famous dough.

Attendees can taste from more than 1,000 varieties of wine, beer, and spirits, sample exquisite dishes, and watch renowned chefs present live culinary demonstrations as they showcase their skills and share the tricks of the trade. From 4:00pm – 6:00pm in the Earth Ballroom, Vintage Cru will give guests an unparalleled opportunity to experience some of the world’s most revered and rare wines. Those in attendance will taste an exclusive lineup of exceptional selections, featuring aged bottles from renowned vineyards and highly sought-after vintages.
