WHAT: Pucker up for KissCon New England, a one-of-a-kind romance author event! Get swept away as The Cabaret Theatre turns into a book lovers’ haven on Saturday, October 26th. Spend this one-night affair with your favorite romance writers: Ilona Andrews, Tessa Dare, Megan Frampton, Caroline Linden, Sarah MacLean, Nisha Sharma, Joanna Shupe and Olivia Waite. This is a partnership between Avon Books and Bank Square Books. Two event tiers are available; you can attend one or join us for both!

IN DETAIL: General Admission: Join us in The Cabaret Theatre for an author discussion and Q&A with our featured authors, followed by a book signing. Tickets are $10 and include a mass-market paperback of your choice. (You will be able to select your book at checkout.) Additional books will be available for purchase.
VIP Event: Mingle with our authors in an intimate VIP experience. Tickets are $40 and include a complimentary drink, appetizers and dessert, plus a KissCon swag bag. This ticket does not include a book, but copies of all the authors’ books will be available for purchase.
*Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets may be purchased in advance through Eventbrite and at the door until the event sells out. Books can also be purchased on-site at Mohegan Sun day of the event, subject to availability. Must have a ticket to enter The Cabaret Theatre.

The successful writer, producer, journalist explores the thought-provoking novel during a live Q&A in the Brothertown Meeting Room located in the upper level of Mohegan Sun’s Convention Center. Afterwards Manessis Corporon will meet fans and sign copies of her novel in The Shops Concourse at Mohegan Sun.
Yvette Manessis Corporon has had years of experience working with some of the most iconic newsmakers and celebrities of our time. Most known for her work as Senior Producer for the syndicated entertainment news show Extra, Manessis Corporon is no stranger to creating stories that both captivate and inspire. Her writing in When the Cypress Whispers is sure to do just that as the reader is taken on a heartwarming journey through the bond of culture and family.

These renowned authors will discuss their work and sign copies of their books for fans on November 9th and 15th
For the first time in Winning Authors history, Mohegan Sun will be hosting back-to-back events during the month of November. On Saturday, November 9th, New York Times bestselling author Mary Kay Andrews will be discussing her latest book, Christmas Bliss, in time for the holiday season. A live discussion will take place in The Cabaret Theatre at 4:00pm followed by a book signing in The Shops at Mohegan Sun at 5:00pm.
Just six days later, New York Times bestsellers and Atria Indie Authors, Colleen Hoover, Jamie McGuire and Abbi Glines will host another Winning Authors event on November 15th as part of Mohegan Sun’s Diva Friday programming. A live Q&A about the spicy “New Adult” genre will be held in The Cabaret Theatre at 8:00pm, followed by a book signing in The Shops at Mohegan Sun at 9:00pm.
Mohegan Sun’s Winning Authors program has featured such authors as Harlan Coben, Sue Grafton, Nora Roberts, Robin Cook, Lee Child and John Saul, among many others.

Connecticut libraries will host a variety of local authors throughout summer with the finale to take place in The Cabaret Theatre on September 13th with Gina Barreca
Mohegan Sun is pleased to welcome Connecticut’s own, Gina Barreca to a very special Winning Authors event set to take place on Thursday, September 13th at 7:00pm. Now in its fourth year, this free event is part of the The Connecticut Authors Trail; an event that consists of various libraries in eastern Connecticut showcasing prominent and talented authors who either live in or are associated with the Nutmeg State. Other library signing dates will feature authors such as Pam Lewis, Peggy Gaffney, Pearl Dexter, James Rourke and Eileen Kaplan.

Gina Barreca is most recently the editor of Make Mine a Double: Why Women Like Us Like To Drink (Or Not,) published by the University Press of New England in 2011 and author of It’s Not That I’m Bitter: How I Learned to Stop Worrying About Visible Panty Lines and Conquered the World (St. Martin’s, 2009). Connecticut libraries will host a variety of local authors throughout summer with the finale to take place in The Cabaret Theatre on September 22nd
Mohegan Sun is excited to announce that The Connecticut Authors Trail, which consists of a consortium of libraries in eastern Connecticut in addition to featuring some of the most prominent and talented authors who either live in or are associated with the Nutmeg State, will return for Its third straight year to Mohegan Sun. The event is set to take place in The Cabaret Theatre on Thursday, September 22nd, showcasing the incredible author, Jane Green. Other library signing dates will feature authors like Todd Gipstein, Jan Kardys, Janice Law, Tommy Coletti, Christine Whitehead, Rosemary Harris and David Howard.
British import Jane Green is the author of twelve best-selling novels, dealing with real women, real life, and all the things life throws at them, with her trademark wisdom, wit and warmth. Her first novel was a huge success in England and it would pave the way for a remarkable career in writing. From The Other Woman to Second Chance to the incredibly popular The Beach House, Jane has become synonymous with complex, character driven story telling that explores the concerns of real women’s lives. As well as writing a regular on JaneGreen.com, she contributes to various publications, both online and print, including Huffington Post, The Sunday Times and Self.
Her latest novel, Promises to Keep, was released earlier this year to critical and public acclaim.
