UNCASVILLE, CT (June 23, 2021) – Hot Summer Fun kicks off Monday, June 28th and Mohegan Sun is ready to turn up the heat with this year’s celebration! Guests can participate in daily Momentum member promotions, special events including a Tesla test drive, the highly-anticipated return of live entertainment in Mohegan Sun Arena and the Wolf Den and our all-new Party on the Patio location.

HOT SUMMER FUN DAILY PROMOTIONS
Momentum members can take advantage of a new promotion every day of the week! Guests can sign up for Mohegan Sun’s free rewards program at any Player’s Club booth on property.

On More Money Mondays, Momentum members can win their share of $10,000 cash! Every Monday from June 28th – August 30th, one Momentum member will be randomly selected every thirty minutes between 10:00am – 7:30pm to win $500 cash. That’s 20 winners every Monday! To enter, Momentum members can play their favorite slots, tables, stadium games or poker games in the Poker Room. All Momentum members must be present to win.

During Catchin’ Rays Tuesdays, Momentum members can go head-to-head with other members in their status level for up to 1,000 Momentum Dollars! Momentum members can play their favorite slots and table games, or wager in the Race Book and Poker Room from 6:00am – 10:00pm every Tuesday from June 29th – August 31st. Five winners per status level will be selected each week, and the Momentum members who earn the most Status Points throughout the week wins the top Momentum Dollar prize! Momentum members must be an Ignite, Leap, Ascend or Soar member to participate.

Momentum members can double up on the earnings during Wild Winning Wednesdays. Every Wednesday from June 30th – September 1st, Momentum members who play their favorite slots from 6:00am – Midnight will receive double Momentum Dollars. Momentum members can also earn double status points while playing their favorite table games, including Poker, stadium gaming and wagers placed in the Race Book. Additionally, with Bring-A-Friend Free Slot Play, any Momentum member who brings a friend to create a new Momentum account will receive $10 in Free Slot Play for themselves and $10 in Free Slot Play for the new member! Plus, if the new Momentum member provides their email address at sign-up, they will be provided with an extra $10 in Free Slot Play. The Bring-A-Friend Free Slot Play promotion is limited to one offer per Momentum member, per Wild Winning Wednesday.

With Thrills & Chills Thursdays, Momentum members can win their share of prizes all day long! To enter, Momentum members can play their favorite slots, table games, stadium games or poker games in the Poker Room from July 1st through September 2nd between the hours of 11:00am – 9:00pm. Momentum members will be randomly selected to win prizes and incredible experiences at the top of every hour during the promotion! All guests must be present to win.

Momentum members can kick off the weekend with Fun In The Sun Fridays. The first 1,000 Momentum members to visit the Play+ Event Center (located next to Hash House A Go Go in Casino of the Earth) will receive a free Hot Summer Fun t-shirt. With new colors being offered every Friday from July 2nd – September 3rd, Momentum members will have the chance to collect all 10!  All participants must present their Momentum card and a valid ID to participate. Limit one shirt per Momentum member, per Fun in the Sun Friday.

On top of these daily promotions, Momentum members will get an extra shot at their share of some cold hard cash with Mohegan Sun’s $50,000 Jackpot Celebration! Momentum members who play their favorite slot machines and win a jackpot of $1,200 or more will receive an entry form. Jackpot winners must activate their entries at the Play+ Event Center between the hours of Noon and 7:00pm on Saturday, September 4th and deposit it into the drawing drum located at the Guest Assistance Center in the Shops at Mohegan Sun. Winners will be drawn on Saturday, September 4th at 7:30pm (there will not be a live drawing). Momentum members can visit any Player’s Club booth for official rules and complete details.

KIOSK PROMOTIONS

Guests can swipe their Momentum card once a day at any promotional kiosk from June 28th through September 3rd to earn Free Slot Play, Momentum Dollars or entries into the grand prize drawing. Those looking to double their total entries can swipe their Momentum card at any promotional kiosk on Friday, September 3rd from 6:00am – 4:00pm. HOT SUMMER FUN GIVEAWAY
Momentum members looking to enjoy Hot Summer Fun while basking in the sun can stop by the Play+ Event Center on Saturday, July 3rd for a free Hot Summer Fun beach towel. The giveaway starts at 10:00am, and beach towels are only available for the first 1,000 Momentum members to attend. Limit one beach towel per Momentum member. All guests must show their Momentum card along with valid photo ID.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT
Mohegan Sun Arena and the Wolf Den are back just in time for summer concert season! In Mohegan Sun Arena, fans can enjoy acts like Air Supply, Lady A, Dustin Lynch, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Straight No Chaser, Jason Mraz, Jeff Dunham, Deftones, Tom Segura, Big & Rich and Toby Keith. Over at the Wolf Den, guests can enjoy free live shows including weekend headliners like Mullett, Branded and Wicked Peach, along with full beverage service and intimate seating, all in the center of the action in Casino of the Earth. This year’s Hot Summer Fun welcomes the return of live outdoor entertainment with a new twist! Party on the Patio takes place every Friday from 7:00pm – 11:00pm. The Summer Entrance has transformed into a space where guests can enjoy an 80 foot bar, fire pits and food trucks, all while listening to some of the best tribute bands around. Anticipated acts include 7800 Fahrenheit (a tribute to Bon Jovi) on July 9th, Parrot Beach (a tribute to Jimmy Buffett) on July 16th, Big Eyed Phish (a tribute to Dave Matthews Band) on August 27th, B Street Band (a tribute to Bruce Springsteen) on September 3rd and more. ADDITIONAL HOT SUMMER FUN
Momentum members who have a need for speed will have the chance to test drive a Tesla at the Summer Valet on Saturday, July 17th and Sunday, July 18th. Guests can experience a 15-minute test drive of a Tesla Model 3 or a Tesla Model Y from 10:00am – 6:00pm. A Tesla representative will also be on-hand to discuss each model in detail. This event is exclusively for Momentum members. Those who are interested in participating are asked to reserve a time slot in advance. All participants will be required to fill out a demonstration drive agreement form, and provide a valid driver’s license along with their Momentum card.

BBQ lovers rejoice! Mohegan Sun’s annual Sun BBQ Fest returns to wrap up Hot Summer Fun on Saturday, September 4th and Sunday, September 5th. Guests can gather in the Winter Parking Lot to taste the best in barbecue, cold beer and handcrafted cocktails, all while enjoying live entertainment. Full plate vending will be provided from nationally acclaimed BBQ teams. Sample bites will also be available through the “People’s Choice Competition”, and guests are also welcome to participate in the annual Wing & Rib competition. Over $25,000 in prize money will be given out over the course of two days! Saturday’s festivities will also conclude with a special fireworks show. Ticket and vendor information are forthcoming.

Hot Summer Fun Returns To Mohegan Sun June 29th – September 4th

UNCASVILLE, CT (June 22, 2020) – Hot Summer Fun is back at Mohegan Sun! This year’s celebration may look a little different than past years, but there are still endless ways to enjoy the season under the Sun – including fun-filled promotions, exclusive offerings, big giveaways and more!

HOT SUMMER FUN DAILY GIVEAWAYS

Momentum members won’t want to miss Hot Summer Fun’s daily giveaways! Prizes include Momentum Dollars, Free Slot Play, thousands of dollars in cash giveaways, free t-shirts and a pontoon boat from Petzold’s Marine Center.

Momentum members can win their share of $10,000 cash by playing their favorite slots or table games during More Monday Mondays. From June 29th to August 31st, one Momentum member will be selected every 30 minutes from 10:00am – 7:30pm and win $500 cash. That’s 20 winners every Monday! All winners must be present with valid ID to win.

On Status Showdown Tuesdays, Momentum members will have the chance to compete against fellow status level members for up to $1,000 Momentum Dollars every week from June 30th – September 1st. Momentum members can play their favorite slots or wager in the Race Book from 6:00am – 10:00pm and the members with the top five scores per status level will win Momentum Dollars. Momentum members must be an Ignite, Leap, Ascend or Soar member to be eligible. Guests can sail away on a Sylvan Mirage 8522 LZ pontoon boat from Petzold’s Marine Center by participating in the Go With the Float Giveaway! All guests have to do is swipe their Momentum card once a day at any promotional kiosk to score Free Slot Play, Momentum Dollars or entries into the grand prize drawing! Momentum members can double their total entries by swiping their Momentum card at any kiosk on Friday, September 4th from 6:00am – 4:00pm, right before the final drawing that evening at 7:00pm. Momentum members can cool off during Hot Summer Fun with some cold hard cash, courtesy of Mohegan Sun’s $50,000 Jackpot Celebration! Momentum members who win a jackpot of $1,200 or more on any slot machine now through July 17th will receive an entry form for a chance to win a share of $50,000 cash and Free Slot Play prizes! To participate, all entries must be dropped into the drawing drum at the Guest Assistance Center in The Shops at Mohegan Sun by Friday, July 17th. Guests must also activate their entries between the hours of Noon and 7:00pm on Saturday, July 18th at the Play+ Event Center (located next to Hash House A Go Go in Casino of the Earth) to be eligible to win.
