Over the course of four days, guests can experience live entertainment in Mohegan Sun Arena, the Wolf Den and Comix Roadhouse, plus exhilarating nightlife in Vista Lounge at Wombi Rock, Avalon Nightclub, The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House and GAME ON. The party doesn’t stop there! Mohegan Sun Arena is ending the year on a high note! Starting Thursday, December 28th, Cirque Dreams Celebration is set to bring three nights of festive entertainment to Mohegan Sun Arena. Cirque Dreams Celebration features an ensemble of aerial circus acts, sleight-of-hand jugglers, fun-loving skippers, breath-catching acrobatics, and much more. This world-renowned cast of performers will be accompanied by an original music score, including new twists on seasonal favorites such as “Deck the Halls,” “Winter Wonderland,” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” Singers, dancers, penguins, toy soldiers, and reindeer invoke the dreams behind a child’s eye on the most magical of nights. Amidst a backdrop of new sets, scenery, and storylines, this family-friendly production is sure to put a twinkle in your eye! All three shows begin at 7:00pm. Over at the Wolf Den, guests can experience three nights of free, live entertainment. On Friday, December 29th, Raise Your Hands: Bon Jovi Tribute, the premier tribute to the music & spirit of Bon Jovi, will kick off at 8:00pm and features both hits and deep catalog tracks. Karina Rykman brings her “Joyride Tour 2023” to the Wolf Den on Saturday, December 30th at 8:00pm, featuring her original take on Psychedelic Indie Rock. On Sunday, December 31st, widely popular ‘80s tribute band, RUBIX KUBE, wraps up 2023 with two shows at 8:00pm and 11:00pm! Comix Roadhouse will play host to five rounds of live entertainment, all on Sunday, December 31st! At 4:00pm, enjoy Spinnato’s Comedy Magic, featuring the perfect combination of sarcasm, magic and audience participation. Standup comedian and Impractical Jokers writer, Mike Finoia, will hit the Comix Roadhouse Comedy Club stage at 6:00pm and 8:00pm. On the Roadhouse side, American Honey is set to bring modern Country, Rock and Pop from the 90’s and beyond at 9:15pm. New Year’s Eve Special Events
On Sunday, December 31st, guests can let a magical adventure sweep them away with an enchanting sit-down dinner at the New Year’s Eve Dinner Gala in the Uncas Ballroom. A cocktail reception will take place from 6:00pm – 7:00pm with dinner immediately following from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. Music will be provided by Middle Eastern Music Ensemble. At 10:30pm, the Uncas Ballroom transforms for the ultimate NYE countdown at Party into the New Year. This extravagant New Year’s celebration gets underway with dancing and music by DJ Tom Macari and will also feature an open bar, a champagne toast at Midnight and a breakfast buffet to ring in 2024. Starting at 9:00pm, guests can countdown to 2024 with family and friends at The Shops at Mohegan Sun during the New Year’s Eve Party on the Concourse, hosted by Alexa Farrell from News 12 CT. The Shops Concourse will come alive when DJae Melee blasts the beats and DFX Entertainment perform their high-energy acts as guests countdown to Midnight, capping off with an incredible pyrotechnic display! Hats, horns and tiaras will be available at Summer and Winter Coat Checks, Sky Valet and other entrances starting at 5:00pm (limited quantities available while supplies last). novelle’s lavish NYE Celebration, the Great Gatsby Roaming Event, will feature live music all night long by DJ Flip, interactive roaming entertainers, a celebratory champagne toast at Midnight and full access to the Viennese Hour dessert bar and passed appetizers. The Beach Boys: Holiday Harmonies also takes center stage this New Year’s Eve at Mohegan Sun. Fans can close out the year right with Mike Love and The Beach Boys as they celebrate the season with a mix of holiday classics from the band’s Christmas album and more. The famous Boogie Wonder Band also returns to the Wolf Den for another NYE performance, taking fans back in time to the 70s & 80s. Christmas dinner at BALLO Italian Restaurant starts with roasted candy stripe beets and mozzarella. For the entrée, enjoy pan seared duck breast and sweet potato & maple bacon tortellini. End the meal on a sweet note with delicious snickerdoodle cannoli. BALLO Italian Restaurant is open on Christmas Day from 4:00pm – 9:00pm.
Guests who dine with Hash House A Go Go on Christmas Day have a variety of delicious options to choose from:
- The peppermint bark pancake is back! Enjoy a famous Hash House pancake cooked with crushed candy cane and milk chocolate chips, topped with whipped cream
- The cream cheese stuffed French toast has cream cheese sandwiched between two pieces of milk bread, dipped in banana cream batter, grilled to perfection and topped with a lemon curd sauce

Dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with Todd English’s Tuscany includes braised veal osso buco and risotto alla Milanese. Guests can also enjoy a decadent New Year’s Eve dinner that features a 16 oz. bone-in prime ribeye, butter poached Alaskan king crab, EVOO silk potatoes, asparagus and Béarnaise. Dinner service is available from 4:00pm – 8:15pm on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and from 4:30pm – 8:15pm on New Year’s Eve. Lunch service will not be offered.

Pasta Vita is offering Christmas and holiday catering. In addition to their holiday menu, Pasta Vita features over 100 freshly prepared entrées, vegetable dishes, salads, sauces, soups, breads and desserts, as well as over 25 varieties of the company’s famous specialty-striped ravioli. Pasta Vita has two locations at Mohegan Sun – the Riverview Entrance of Casino of the Sky and right across from the Summer Valet Entrance.
At Michael Jordan’s Steak House, dinner starts with a miniature beef Wellington with Bordelaise sauce. For the main course, choose between the “Prime 23” – a 23 oz. bone-in prime rib, two bacon scallops and two sautéed shrimp, or “The G.O.A.T” – a 23 oz. bone-in prime rib, double cut lamb chops, a 1/2 lb. of King crab legs with black garlic butter and a roasted 6 oz. lobster tail with butter and charred lemon. Complete either meals with a slice of red velvet cake. Both of these surf and turf feasts can be paired with an eggnog martini, made of Van Gogh vanilla vodka, citrus liqueur, eggnog, nutmeg and cinnamon. MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill is serving up a three-course meal exclusively on Christmas Day that starts with pasta fagioli. The entrée is prime rib with mashed potatoes, asparagus and natural jus. Dessert is a delectable white chocolate bread pudding. IN DETAIL: After receiving top international hospitality awards in 2019, Mohegan Sun launches season four of the hit series, “Back of House” tonight at 8:00pm on BackofHouse.tv. The East Coast’s Leading Resort to Premiere Season 4 of its Revealing, Award-Winning Digital Series “Back of House,” Starting October 14

They must find a way.
- Episode 2: Be Social, Be Safe
As reopening day quickly approaches, the media floods Mohegan Sun. The health, safety and sanitation efforts are fastidious, fast, and furious as the clock ticks closer to guests returning to their favorite playground. The question on everyone’s mind is: “How will this go?” The casino is spotless, the back hallways too, and the hotel rooms are treated with new stringent protocols. As the team leaders complete their final walkthroughs, the bright shine of a successful reopening lies just ahead on the horizon. See what happens next.
- Episode 3: The Gingerbread House
The holidays are back at Mohegan Sun! Chef Lynn and his team are building a life-size Gingerbread House. That includes teams from engineering, carpentry, security, EVS, marketing and more. The project requires notoriously long hours and can be quite stressful, but the team has some outside help too! Busloads of school children arrive at Mohegan Sun to put the finishing touches on this one-of-a-kind masterpiece. As a thank you, the Mohegan Sun team gives them a special surprise gift. - Episode 4: Divas Light up the Holidays
What could be better than incredible holiday decorations and a Mariah Carey concert during the holidays? How about holiday decorating and a concert, followed by a drag queen holiday bash? - Episode 5: New Year’s Eve
It’s New Year’s Eve 2020 at Mohegan Sun. The range of festivities and parties is as massive as ever with well over 10,000 people in attendance. Lauren, Andre, and Tyler work as a team to ensure the evening goes off without a hitch. Will it? Can it? With Pyrotechnics scheduled for midnight over the waterfall in the Shops at Mohegan Sun, and a total ballroom makeover needed in under one hour in the convention center, anything can happen, and probably will.
