Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band Announce Fall Tour Dates

Live at Mohegan Sun Arena September 20th

UNCASVILLE, CT (April 18, 2024) – Today Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band – Steve Lukather, Edgar Winter, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart and Gregg Bissonette announced they will be playing  12 shows during their Fall run that includes a Mohegan Sun Arena show on Friday, September 20th at 8:00pm.

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 26th at 10:00am via Ticketmaster.com. Subject to availability, Rock fans can purchase tickets at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting on Saturday, April 27th.

From his beginnings with The Beatles in the 1960s, Ringo has been one of the brightest musical luminaries in the world. Throughout his career, he has enjoyed continued success, between 1970 and 2023 he has released 20 solo studio albums and 4 consecutive EPs, including the most recent Rewind Forward. Ringo formed his first All Starr Band in 1989 and has been touring since. Ringo has received nine GRAMMY® Awards, and has twice been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — first as a Beatle and then as solo artist.

He has acted in over 15 films, received an Academy Award®, and has been nominated as an actor for an Emmy®. Ringo has published 8 books; had a stint as a male fashion model, and that same year went behind the lens as the photographer for some Foo Fighters PR photos. Ringo is also a visual artist and has had numerous exhibitions of his work and his “Peace Sculpture” is on permanent display in the Beverly Hills Park. In 2008 Ringo began dedicating his July 7 birthday to promoting Peace and Love and the movement has grown to include events all over the planet and into the stars with support from NASA. In 2018, Ringo was knighted and in 2019 he celebrated 30 years of touring with his All Starr Bands. In 2022 Ringo received an honorary degree as a Doctor of Music from Berklee College of Music.

Ringo Starr And His 13th All Starr Band Set To Play Mohegan Sun Arena

Performing on one night only on June 17th

Ringo Starr and his 13th All Starr Band featuring Steve Lukather of Toto, Gregg Rolie of Journey and Santana, Richard Page of Mr. Mister, Todd Rundgren, Mark Rivera and Gregg Bissonette will rock the Arena on Sunday, June 17th at 7:00pm.

The tour is being produced by Dave Hart and as always fans can expect to hear a jukebox worth of hits. Ringo classics such as “It Don’t Come Easy,” “Photograph,” “With A Little Help From My Friends,” “Yellow Submarine” and “Wings,” from Starr’s just released 17th solo record, Ringo 2012.  All Starr’s hits include “Rosanna,” “Broken Wings,”  “Hello It’s Me,” and “Black Magic Woman.”
Ringo will spend his birthday on the road, with a performance at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on July 7th.  Following in the tradition of the last few years, at Noon from the Hard Rock in Nashville, Ringo will ask anyone anywhere, and everyone everywhere, to join him in a wish for peace and love.

IN DETAIL:  Prior to his performance in the Arena on June 27th, former Beatle Ringo Starr will be the   19th entertainer inducted into Mohegan Sun’s Walk of Fame.  Ringo has performed in front of more than 30,000 fans in three of Mohegan Sun’s entertainment venues including four in the Arena, in which three were near sellouts. This special induction ceremony will be held outside the main entrance of the Arena, near the Mohegan Sun Box Office.   

This award seeks to recognize those individuals who have made significant contributions to the success of Mohegan Sun as the Northeast’s premier entertainment destination. All of the individuals inducted into the Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame will have their name engraved on a plaque that will be permanently placed at the entrance to Mohegan Sun Arena.

Ringo is on the road again and bringing his All Starr Band with him.  The 11th All Starr Band Tour arrives at Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, June 27th at 7:00pm with a line-up of great Rock stars to share the stage with the legendary former Beatle.
