Continuing Ian Anderson’s 50 Years of Jethro Tull North American tour dates into 2019, stopping at Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, September 15th at 8:00pm.

Founder, frontman and flautist, Ian Anderson is rightly credited with introducing the flute to Rock as a front line instrument, not to mention the codpiece! Ian Anderson is accompanied by Tull band musicians David Goodier (bass), John O’Hara (keyboards), Florian Opahle (guitar), Scott Hammond (drums) and surprise virtual guests.
The anniversary concert will feature a broad mix of material, some of it focusing on the earlier formative period through to the “heavy hitters” of the Tull catalogue from the albums: This Was, Stand Up, Benefit, Aqualung, Thick As A Brick, Too Old To Rock And Roll: Too Young To Die, Songs From The Wood, Heavy Horses, Crest Of A Knave and even a touch of TAAB2 from 2012.
Anderson says, “We continue to present the 50th Anniversary concerts in many countries and regions not visited in 2018, and also many Tull repertoire shows in Europe. There will be, of course, my usual charitable cathedral and church concerts in December. In the USA – many would argue – 2019 is really the 50th Anniversary for US fans since we first visited in early 1969.”

Train’s Greatest Hits album and epic nationwide tour will celebrate 20 years of beloved music and hits. The album pulls together 16 fan – favorites like “Drops of Jupiter,” “Calling All Angels,” and “Hey Soul Sister.”
Train’s self – titled debut album, released in 1998 was the start of their now accomplished career – the tumbling wordplay of “Meet Virginia” gave them their first unlikely radio hit and 2001’s “Drops Of Jupiter” broke them to multi – platinum status thanks to the double Grammy award – winning title song that spent 10 months in the Top 40, and earned the “Best Rock Song” Grammy Award. The group won another Grammy award in 2011 for their global hit “Hey Soul Sister,” the #1 best – selling smash and most downloaded single of 2010, from their multi – platinum album Save Me, San Francisco. UNCASVILLE, CT (September 6, 2018) – Mohegan Sun Arena regrets to announce that Blink – 182 has cancelled their fall mini tour, which was stopping in Uncasville, CT on Thursday, September 20th. Medical issues have sidelined drummer Travis Barker per doctors’ orders. Barker’s medical team anticipated that he would be well enough by fall to tour but after recent checkups they were not able to clear him in time for the scheduled run of dates. Refunds can be received at point of purchase. All credit card and point transactions will be automatically refunded.
Barker says “The past few months have just sucked as I have been sidelined just waiting for my doctors to clear me so I could get back on the road and perform with my band. Unfortunately, the risks associated with drumming are still too great. I am doing everything I need to do so I can get back on the road as soon as possible. I want to thank my fans, family, friends and bandmates for all the love and support.”
