UNCASVILLE, CT (February 11, 2025) –– Colin Jost, the hilarious comedian, writer, actor and star on “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) is scheduled to appear at Mohegan Sun Arena Saturday, April 26th for an 8:00pm show. SNL co-stars Marcello Hernández and James Austin Johnson will join Jost during the epic night of laughter.
Tickets to Colin Jost and Friends at Mohegan Sun will go on sale Friday, February 14th 12:00pm via Ticketmaster.com. Comedy fans can purchase at the Mohegan Sun Box Office beginning on Saturday, February 15th, subject to availability.
Jost has won five Writers Guild Awards, two Peabody Awards and has been nominated for 15 Emmy Awards for his writing on “SNL.”. Jost and Michael Che have hosted special editions of “Weekend Update” on MSNBC during the 2016 Republican and Democratic national conventions as well as the primetime “Weekend Update Summer Edition” in 2017. The duo also co-hosted the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2018 and in 2024 executive produced and co-hosted Peacock’s first-ever live comedy event, “Colin Jost and Michael Che Present: New York After Dark,” which featured an evening of surprise drop-in performances from stand-up comedians.
In 2020, Jost also debuted “A Very Punchable Face.” A New York Times bestseller, the memoir is a series of essays that documents pivotal moments in Jost’s life, including growing up in Staten Island in a family of firefighters, commuting three hours a day to high school, attending Harvard while Facebook was created and more.
Jost, along with Marcello Hernández, and James Austin Johnson will play key roles during the upcoming highly anticipated Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary season. “Saturday Night Live,” celebrating its 50th Anniversary Special this Saturday night, has helped elevate Colin Jost to worldwide acclaim. The writer, performer and author started writing for SNL in 2005 and has been the co-anchor of the show’s “Weekend Update” since 2014. The 10,000- seat Mohegan Sun Arena will also host Comedy icons and SNL alumni Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on Friday, May 16th.

Shane Gillis is a stand-up comic, actor, and writer from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. After winning Philly’s Funniest at Helium Comedy Club in 2016 Shane was named an “Up-Next” Comic at Comedy Central’s 2019 Clusterfest in San Francisco and a “New Face” at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. In 2021, Gillis released his debut comedy special Shane Gillis: Live in Austin on YouTube which has been viewed over 14 million times. Gillis is one-half of Patreon and Apple’s top 10 podcasts Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast. Late Night with Seth Meyers host to perform stand-up at Mohegan Sun on May 2nd; Tickets on sale Friday, December 12th
UNCASVILLE, CT (December 8, 2014) — Mohegan Sun is excited to announce that Emmy winner Seth Meyers is scheduled to play the Arena on Saturday, May 2nd for a stand-up comedy performance at 8:00pm.
Tickets are $49.50 and go on sale Friday, December 12th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Meyers began his TV career with Saturday Night Live in 2001. He completed his 13th season on the legendary sketch comedy program in December 2013 where he served as head writer for nine seasons and “Weekend Update” anchor for eight seasons. Viewers recognized Meyers for his sharp wit, satirical commentary on topical events and newsmakers, and hilarious interactions with the wide array of guests that visit the “Weekend Update” desk.
A graduate of Northwestern University, Meyers studied and performed at ImprovOlympic before moving on to the Boom Chicago Theater in Amsterdam, Holland. His acclaimed show “Pick-ups and Hiccups” with partner Jill Benjamin toured Europe and eventually caught the eye of SNL. Meyers also lends his voice to Hulu’s animated superhero show The Awesomes, which he co-created with Mike Shoemaker. The show premiered August 2013 and quickly became a runaway hit before being picked up for a second season. Meyers hosted the 2010 and 2011 ESPY Awards on ESPN and headlined the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner to rave reviews. In 2011, Meyers won the Emmy for “Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics” for host Justin Timberlake’s musical monologue, and has also garnered ten additional Emmy nominations for his work as a writer in television.
Meyers currently resides in New York City with his wife, Alexi, and their dog, Frisbee. His birthday is December 28th.
