Celebration on November 11th to feature a benefit concert with performances by Dropkick Murphys, Godsmack, Tony Orlando, Madison Rising
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 14, 2016) – Career fairs, workshops, The Wall That Heals, a charity concert and so much more – the possibilities are endless at the second annual Vets Rock at Mohegan Sun this Veterans Day. Hosted by Til Duty is Done and Mohegan Sun, the day will feature special services and activities for veterans and their families.
Vets Rock Concert
Mohegan Sun Arena presents a very special Vets Rock Benefit Concert beginning at 7:30pm on November 11th. The concert, emceed by Tony Orlando, will feature performances by Dropkick Murphys, Godsmack, emcee Tony Orlando and Madison Rising with appearances by the NYFD Emerald Society and Tat Holler. Tickets are $30.00 and go on sale Friday, September 16th through Ticketmaster. Complimentary tickets will be given to the first 250 Veterans who register for the day’s events at VetsRock.info.
Wounded Veterans VIP Experience
Mohegan Sun and Til Duty Is Done are extremely proud to announce an exclusive partnership with American Airlines to give a very special group of wounded Veterans a once in a lifetime experience. American Airlines will be chartering a commercial jet to fly 24 veterans and their families from Wounded Warrior Transition Units around the country to Connecticut for an unforgettable “High Roller” experience during Vets Rock. The veterans will arrive in Connecticut on Wednesday, November 9th and will be put up in Mohegan Sun’s hotel for three nights with VIP privileges and services their entire stay.
The Wall That Heals
From November 10th through November 13th, The Wall That Heals will be set up and on display for visitors in the outdoor Winter Parking lot at Mohegan Sun. A mobile replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, The Wall That Heals bears the names of the more than 58,000 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam and honors the millions of Americans who served during the Vietnam War. The half-scale replica of the The Wall and a mobile Education Center spread The Wall’s healing legacy to hundreds of thousands across the country.
Career Fair & Workshops
Vets Rock is also taking over Mohegan Sun’s Convention Center. All convention rooms and the full 38,000 square-foot Uncas Ballroom will be converted into a conference space featuring a career fair, resume assistance, professional suit fittings and more.
Half of the Convention Center will host the Hiring Our Heroes Workshop with interview prep and resume assistance. Guests will also have the opportunity to be fitted for a professional suit by Save-A-Suit. From 10:00am to 6:00pm, veterans are invited to take part in the career fair featuring at least 100 employers from throughout the state. The career fair will take place in the other half of the Convention Center. A family area will be available where veterans can bring their children while they explore the services available. Mohegan Sun gives back to U.S. Military members this Veterans Day
UNCASVILLE, CT (October 28, 2015) – This Veterans Day, to honor those who have protected our country, Mohegan Sun offers a hiring fair, a concert, discounts and deals for both active and retired military members.

Vets Rock Hiring Fair
Join us for a special hiring event for service members, veterans, and military spouses at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville. This event is being held in conjunction with VETS ROCK!, hosted by Til Duty is Done, and features a hiring fair, employment workshops, and networking opportunities. Vets Rock Concert
Presented by Mohegan Sun, benefiting Til Duty is Done & in partnership with News 8 starring Trace Adkins with special guests Madison Rising and Dan Orlando plus a short Acoustic set by Dropkick Murphys, hosted by Tony Orlando. Celebration featuring a benefit concert headlined by Trace Adkins, career services and so much more November 11th
UNCASVILLE, CT (May 4, 2015) – Career fairs, workshops, a charity concert and so much more – the possibilities are endless at the inaugural Vets Rock at Mohegan Sun this November. Hosted by Til Duty is Done and Mohegan Sun the day will feature special services and activities for veterans and their families – as well as a benefit concert headlined by Country music superstar, Trace Adkins.
Career Fair, Workshops and Auction
Vets Rock is taking over Mohegan Sun’s Convention Center. All convention rooms and the full 38,000 square-foot Uncas Ballroom will be converted into a conference space featuring a career fair, resume assistance, professional suit fittings and more.

From 10:30am to 5:00pm, veterans are invited to take part in the career fair featuring at least 100 employers from throughout the state. On Wednesday, a variety of other services will be available throughout the day in the upper level of the Convention Center for veterans to take advantage of including art therapy, yoga, music therapy, VA claim representatives, veteran legal affairs and much more.
Also on Wednesday, November 11th in The Shops at Mohegan Sun, there will be a special art show and auction headlined by a custom piece designed by John Herz. Additional programming will continually be added so please be sure to check mohegansun.com for the latest programming for the Vets Rock event.
Vets Rock Concert
The celebration goes out with a bang when Trace Adkins headlines a special Vets Rock Concert inside Mohegan Sun Arena at 7:30pm. The concert, emceed by Tony Orlando, will also feature special guests Dropkick Murphys and Madison Rising. Tickets for this event are $49.00 and $29.00 and go on sale May 16th through Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office. A special presale for veterans will begin on May 4th.
