Uncasville, Connecticut – Mohegan Sun celebrated its 15th anniversary with a star-studded weekend that included a sold out performance by the sensational Jennifer Lopez. Lopez delivered a spectacular show with her popular hits like Love Don’t Cost A Thing, Let’s Get Loud, On The Floor and her new single Papi. Surprise guests Fat Joe and DJ Enuff had the crowd going wild.
Celebrities in attendance throughout the weekend included Glee’s Lea Michele, Terrence Howard, Nick Lachey & Vanessa Minnillo, Donnie Wahlberg, Kenny Wormald, Jaime Pressly, Maria Menounos, Jesse Metcalfe, Hugo Becker, Tinsley Mortimer and Kelly Bensimon. Appearances by Chefs Todd English, Bobby Flay, Jasper White, and Buddy Valastro, Dancing with the Stars Mary Murphy, Regis and Joy Philbin, Susan Lucci, poker extraordinaire Beth Shak, and performances by Stephen Stills, Port Chuck, and Dierks Bentley. In addition, MTV’s Jersey Shore castmates, Sammi, Ronnie and Deena participated in a meet and greet with fans and appeared in Mohegan Sun’s Ultra 88 nightclub, adding excitement to the weekend.
DJ Kiss, a staple on the New York nightlife scene and celebrity favorite, headlined a star-studded after party in Ballo Italian Restaurant and Social Club, Mohegan Sun’s newest restaurant and lounge.

Celebrities ‘crystallized’ to appear include cast members of Jersey Shore, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance and others
UNCASVILLE, CT – Mohegan Sun’s Crystal Anniversary keeps shining with more and more stars scheduled to appear at the Northeast’s premier entertainment destination during its anniversary weekend October 21st – 23rd including cast members from Jersey Shore, So You Think You Can Dance judge Mary Murphy with dancers Gev Manoukian and Jonathan “Legacy” Perez, Season 9 American Idol contestant and Connecticut native Katie Stevens and celebrity chefs and restaurateurs Bobby Flay and Todd English, among others. And it’s all free!
Mohegan Sun, one of the world’s largest and most spectacular entertainment and gaming destinations, recently unveiled its plans for a month-long celebration in October to celebrate its crystal 15th anniversary including a one-time-only special performance by Jennifer Lopez, a private tribute dinner for “the hardest working man in show business” Regis Philbin, tons of free events with some of the hottest celebrities around, special appearances by Buddy Valastro, The Cake Boss, and so much more.
The weekend also features Rock N’ Roll Hall of Famer Stephen Stills and Country superstar Dierks Bentley performing free concerts in Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den on October 21st & 22nd, while the General Hospital soap stars of Port Chuck take the stage in The Cabaret Theatre on October 22nd during a private concert.
Throughout the 15th anniversary weekend, The Shops at Mohegan Sun will be home to several free events with some of today’s hottest stars including a Reality Check event with cast members of Jersey Shore on Friday, October 21st. And on Saturday, the action continues when chef and restaurateur Bobby Flay hosts a public autograph signing of his new book Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain Cookbook. Celebrity chef Todd English will also be hosting a Signings & Sighting event that afternoon for his newly released book, Cooking in Everyday English: The ABCs of Great Flavor at Home.
The fun continues when So You Think You Can Dance judge Mary Murphy, along with dancers Gev Manoukian and Jonathan “Legacy” Perez, host a special Reality Check that evening in The Shops at Mohegan Sun, followed by Season 9 American Idol contestant and Connecticut native Katie Stevens on Sunday afternoon.

The Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun is the place to be this fall as upcoming Pop singer Andy Grammer performs on Saturday, October 2nd, followed by Country artist Randy Houser on Saturday, October 8th. Boyz II Men bring their chart topping hits to the Wolf Den on Friday, October 14th. Mohegan Sun celebrates its 15th anniversary weekend with legendary performer Stephen Stills on the Wolf Den stage on Friday, October 21st and Country music star Dierks Bentley will cap off the weekend with a performance on Saturday, October 22nd. Rock group Cold will perform on Saturday, October 29th. Friday and Saturday Wolf Den shows begin at 8:00pm and Sunday shows are at 7:00pm unless otherwise noted. Admission is free, but all patrons must be 21 or over.

Houser’s debut album, Anything Goes, introduced him as an exceptional artist, someone with both a cutting-edge sound and a deep respect for classic Country. Working once again with Motown producer Randy Jackson, Boyz II Men (Wanya Morris, Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman) brings their distinctive, individual voices and peerless harmonies to bear on songs made famous by Bonnie Raitt, The Manhattans, Journey, The Spinners, Sam Cooke, the Beatles and Cyndi Lauper. Boyz II Men weave these diverse selections together into an album-length symphony, one that flows seamlessly from an impassioned “I Can’t Make You Love Me” through the shimmering a cappella sound of “Time After Time” to “When I Fall In Love,” a beautiful reworking of a great American standard featuring Boyz II Men’s special guest Michael Bublé.
From its inception, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young was designed to allow the individual performers great latitude for their solo work following the recording of the group’s live LP Four Way Street, in late 1970, Stephen Stills released his self-titled solo debut. It sparked the success of the hit single “Love the One You’re With.” The album, which featured cameos from Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, was another smash, as was his 1971 follow-up Stephen Stills 2. In 1972, Stills began performing with a new backing unit, Manassas, which featured ex-Byrd and Flying Burrito Brother Chris Hillman; both their eponymous debut and 1973’s Down the Road continued Stills’ long string of chart successes.
Trepidation will not be part of Dierks Bentley’s legacy. At every turn in his career, he’s done his own thing, whether that meant touring with Jam bands, playing Rock venues or recording with Bluegrass all-stars on platinum Country albums. Now Dierks steps forward with his most artistically daring project yet, the all-acoustic Up On The Ridge – a powerful, beautiful album steeped in the Bluegrass and Roots music that moved Dierks Bentley to be a Country musician in the first place.
Cold burst onto the Rock scene with the release of their self-titled debut album in 1998. They achieved their most successful milestone to date when their third studio album, Year of the Spider, climbed to #3 on the U.S. Rock charts. That album produced the hit singles “Stupid Girl” and “Suffocate.” The band just wrapped up their latest effort, 2011’s Superfiction, and it’s lead single “Wicked World” is currently riding Rock radio airwaves.

Live in Wolf Den on October 21st
Joining the stellar lineup of entertainment for Mohegan Sun’s 15th anniversary is iconic performer Stephen Stills. Accompanied by opening act Josh Hisle, Stills and company will rock the Wolf Den stage on Friday, October 21st at 8:00pm. Admission is free, but all guests must be 21 or over.
Stephen Stills is the only artist ever to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice in one night—with Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills & Nash. On the recording side, Stills’ most recent release is 2009’s Live At Shepherd’s Bush (Rhino), which captures the artist in fine form at a 2008 London concert. In 2007, Rhino released the historic collection Just Roll Tape – April 26th 1968—the title’s date references a long-gone day in a NYC studio when Stills recorded 12 demos after his then-girlfriend Judy Collins had finished her session. Lost for 40 years, the tapes contained the first-ever takes of songs that would later become Stills solo hits as well as tracks by CSN, CSN&Y and Manassas, including “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,” “Wooden Ships” and “Helplessly Hoping.” Stills debuted as a solo artist with 1970’s now-classic album Stephen Stills, featuring the signature song “Love The One You’re With”—the latest album in his solo repertoire is 2006’s Man Alive!.
Stephen Stills is #28 on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Guitarists Of All Time.” For more than four decades, through his solo work and a as member of the stellar groups Buffalo Springfield, Manassas, Crosby, Stills & Nash and CSN&Y, he has helped shape the popular music landscape and remained one of its most enduring artists. On tour this fall, Stills will perform songs from throughout his career.
