Renowned author Lee Child hosts an open forum on Saturday, May 30th, addressing the Jack Reacher series and his latest novel, Gone Tomorrow

Mohegan Sun’s “Winning Authors” series is proud to present New York Times best-selling author Lee Child.  The internationally-recognized author will host a live discussion on Saturday, May 30th in The Cabaret Theatre at 3:00pm to be followed by a book signing in the Spring Gateway in The Shops concourse at 4:00pm.

Lee Child is well known for his in-depth development of characters and thrilling storylines. Foreign rights in the Jack Reacher series have been sold in forty territories, and have won both the Anthony and Barry Awards for “Best First Mystery” and the “Nero” Award. All titles have been optioned for major motion pictures.  Child’s appearance in Mohegan Sun’s “Winning Authors” series joins the elite class of authors including Sue Grafton, Nora Roberts, Robin Cook and Catherine Coulter.

His appearance will take place eleven days after the release of his thirteenth Jack Reacher thriller, Gone Tomorrow. After five consecutive New York Times hardcover best-sellers and more than 22 million copies of his books sold worldwide, Lee Child promises to deliver one of his most eagerly-anticipated novels to date with Gone Tomorrow.

Hailed by the New York Times as the, “Best thriller writer of the moment,” Child brings his centerpiece character Jack Reacher back into the fold with a modern thriller to remember. Gone Tomorrow opens with Reacher riding the New York subway late at night only to recognize that the woman standing across from him displays all the signs tagging her as a suicide bomber. From the pulsating introduction to the climatic conclusion, Reacher plunges into the depths of a conspiracy concealed since the start of the Soviet-Afghan War—one that, if unchecked, will have deadly consequences for today’s war on terrorism.

As part of the “Winning Authors” event, a collaboration between Mohegan Sun and Spin Street, Child will host a forum at Mohegan Sun’s Cabaret Theatre.  Included will be a question and answer session at 3:00pm where guests can ask Child questions about his books and career. A book signing of Gone Tomorrow will then follow in the Spring Gateway at 4:00pm in The Shops at Mohegan Sun concourse.  Both events are free and open to the public.  Gone Tomorrow is on sale and will be available for purchase at Spin Street beginning Tuesday, May 19th, and leading up to the day of the event.
