Two titans of Philippine music, “The Concert King” Martin Nievera and “Mr. Pure Energy,” Gary Valenciano, will be hosting a spectacular concert live at Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, February 28th at 4:00pm.

Martin Nievera is a singer, songwriter and actor from the Philippines and the son of legendary Filipino balladeer Bert Nievera.  He began his singing career in 1982 with his album Martin..Take One which reached platinum status in just five months.  Nievera also has an extensive acting career and has starred in eleven movies and seven television series.  He is currently hosting several television shows including A.S.A.P. and Martin After Dark. 
Gary Valenciano is a Filipino musician whose energetic dance moves also garnered him the nickname “Mr. Pure Energy.”   He has released 26 albums and won the Awit Award for “Best Male Performer” eleven times.   His unforgettable hits include “Love of Mine”, “Shout for Joy” and “Until Then.”  Valenciano has also performed all over the world and became the first UNICEF National Ambassador of Goodwill for the Philippines in 1998.
