Alvarez Vs. Curran Lightweight World Title Fight Headlines Bellator’s Fourth Trip To Mohegan Sun On April 2nd

Bellator Fighting Championships will make its fourth trip to Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT for  Bellator 39 on Saturday, April 2nd at 8:00pm.  The action packed card will be headlined by a World Title Fight between Bellator Lightweight World Champion Eddie Alvarez against Season 2 Lightweight Tournament winner Pat Curran. 
Doors will open at 7:30pm with the first fight happening at 8:00pm and the LIVE MTV2 broadcast starting at 9:00pm.  Bellator 39 will take place in the spacious Mohegan Sun Arena which was host to two Bellator events in Season 1 and one event in Season 2, making it no stranger to world-class mixed martial arts.

In addition to the championship fight, the evening will also feature semifinal fights in the Season 4 Welterweight Tournament, a Bellator debut for Ben “Killa B” Saunders, who will take on Bellator and Strikeforce veteran Matt Lee, and a host of exciting Local Feature Fights.
