Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament Tickets Now on Sale!

Tickets now on-sale to general public for Mohegan Sun Event

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame today announced that tickets are now on sale for the 2011 Basketball Hall of Fame’s Tip-Off Tournament.  The Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off will take place on Saturday, November 19, and Sunday, November 20 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.  Eight schools will compete in two four-team brackets over the weekend at one of the premier destinations in New England.   Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets and the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
Teams scheduled to compete in the 2011 Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off are:  Long Island University (Northeast), Marist College (MAAC), Old Dominion University (CAA), Penn State University (Big Ten), Radford University (Big South), University of Kentucky (SEC), University of South Florida (Big East) and the University of Vermont (America East). 
Tip-Off Tournament Schedule
Saturday November 19 at Mohegan Sun Arena, Uncasville, CT
SESSION 1
12 Noon                    Game 1 – Kentucky vs. Penn State
Approx 2:00 pm      Game 2 – Old Dominion vs. South Florida
SESSION 2
6:00 PM                     Game 3 – Marist vs. Vermont
Approx 8:00 PM      Game 4 – Long Island vs. Radford
Sunday November 20 at Mohegan Sun Arena, Uncasville, CT
SESSION 1
12 Noon                    Game 5 – Kentucky vs. Old Dominion/South Florida* 
Approx 2:00 pm      Game 6 – Penn State vs. Old Dominion/South Florida*
*If Kentucky wins Game 1 it will play the winner of Game 2; if Penn State wins Game 1 it will play the winner of Game 2 at pre-determined times.
SESSION 2
5:30 PM                     Game 7 –Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 4
Approx 7:30 pm      Game 8 –Loser of Game 3 vs. Loser of Game 4
