One of 2011’s hottest bands performs live in Arena on May 11th

On the heels of the November release of Ceremonials, one of 2011’s most critically acclaimed albums, Florence + The Machine with special guest Blood Orange has launched a 15 city tour presented by MSN and will head to Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, May 11th at 8:00pm.

Ceremonials, recorded at the famed Abbey Road Studios and produced by Paul Epworth was released in the U.S. on November 1st and debuted on the Billboard Top 100 Charts at #6. It received glowing reviews including Four Stars from Rolling Stone, US Magazine, NY Post and scores of other publications. It was on a slew of Top Ten Best Albums including Time, Entertainment Weekly and People.
Nominated for a Grammy for “Best New Artist” and an MTV “Video of the Year Award” with unforgettable performances on 2010’s MTV Video Music Awards, the Grammys and the Academy Awards, Florence Welch is poised to cast her spell as she dances across US concert stages. Florence & the Machine will also be appearing on an upcoming MTV Unplugged and Austin City Limits on January 28th.
