This past summer marked the debut of Maroon 5’s highly-anticipated fourth studio album, Overexposed. Recorded in Los Angeles, CA, the release is a rich, Pop-infused collection that Rolling Stone referred to as “their best yet” and People Magazine called “sweet Soul kissed Pop.” The release of the album quickly reinforced the group’s status as a powerhouse in popular music. Overexposed features a series of chart-topping singles including “Payphone” which immediately shot straight to #1 on both the Top 40 and Hot Adult Contemporary charts and “One More Night” which has been at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for five straight weeks. The third single off of the album “Daylight” is scheduled to impact radio this November. Maroon 5 will debut the song on The Voice on November 8th.
Capturing their first of three Grammy Awards as “Best New Artist” of 2005 and going on to sell more than 17 million albums worldwide, Maroon 5’s releases have gone Gold and Platinum in over 35 countries. The band won over fans and critics alike with the hybrid Rock/R&B sound they introduced on their debut album, Songs About Jane and their double-Platinum album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long which included hits like “Makes Me Wonder” and “If I Never See Your Face Again.” In 2010, the band released their third studio album, Hands All Over which also recently went Platinum. The collection featured two hit singles including the Hot Adult Contemporary smash “Misery” and the anthem “Moves Like Jagger” which climbed to the #1 spot on the Top 40 and Hot Adult Contemporary charts and also claimed the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
In addition to his work with Maroon 5, Adam Levine has returned for a third season as a coach on the #1 NBC hit series The Voice. Adam also recently made his small screen acting debut on the hit FX Drama American Horror Story: Asylum and has landed a lead role in the major motion picture film, Can A Song Save Your Life from director John Carney.
Mohegan Sun Arena is ranked 3rd in the U.S. and 4th in the world by Billboard Magazine and was the 2008 and 2010 recipient of a Country Music Award for “Casino of The Year.”  Venues Today also ranked Mohegan Sun Arena #4 in 2011 and ranked in the top six of “Top Stops of The Decade” in 2012.
