Musicians perform live in Arena on December 29th

Coldplay, the multiple award-winning band, will begin its year-end U.S. tour, promoted by Live Nation, with a show at Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, December 29th at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $150.00 and $95.00 and go on sale Friday, November 16th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am.  Ticketmaster customers may log on to ticketmaster.com; call Ticketmaster’s national toll free Charge By Phone number 1.800.745.3000; or visit any Ticketmaster outlet.  Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday, November 17th, subject to availability.
In September, Billboard named Coldplay’s 2012 outing the year’s top-grossing tour to date. Coldplay has sold more than 50 million records worldwide and won numerous awards including seven Grammy’s, seven BRIT Awards, six Q Awards and five MTV Video Music Awards. The band’s latest album, Mylo Xyloto, topped the charts in 34 countries including the U.S. and the U.K. Coldplay Live 2012, the band’s first concert film/live album in nine years, will be released worldwide on November 19th. It will be available in on CD/DVD, Blu-ray and digitally.
Mohegan Sun Arena is ranked 3rd in the U.S. and 4th in the world by Billboard Magazine and was the 2008 and 2010 recipient of a Country Music Award for “Casino of The Year.”  Venues Today also ranked Mohegan Sun Arena #4 in 2011 and ranked in the top six of “Top Stops of The Decade” in 2012.
