Stars of Nickelodeon and Pop Band sensations, Big Time Rush, are hitting the road and are scheduled for a Mohegan Sun Arena show on Saturday, July 20th.
Tickets are $45.00 and go on sale Saturday, April 6th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. Big Time Rush – Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena Jr. and Logan Henderson – recently released their second album, Elevate. The highly anticipated follow-up to the group’s Gold-certified debut BTR, Elevate features tracks including “Music Sounds Better With U (featuring Mann),” “Show Me” and “All Over Again,” plus brand-new music that will debut on upcoming episodes of the TV series. And on March 6th, Big Time Rush released the soundtrack for their movie, Big Time Movie, exclusively on iTunes. The soundtrack features covers of beloved Beatles songs including “Help,” “Revolution” and “Hard Day’s Night.” Big Time Movie premiered on Saturday, March 10th on Nickelodeon.

Mohegan Sun Arena plays host Fall Out Boy for 7:00pm show on September 5th
After an unprecedented launch of their single, album and spring tour, multi-platinum Grammy nominated Decaydance/Island Records group Fall Out Boy now announce their fall arena tour with a special video message http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roGPUXmQnTU. The tour starts September 5th in Uncasville, CT and wraps September 29th in Orlando, FL. Support acts for the tour will be announced soon.

The first single from Save Rock And Roll, “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up),” is currently top #10 on the iTunes Singles Chart and is already RIAA certified gold. The new album comes out April 16th; fans have flocked to iTunes for the pre-order, which instantly hit #2 on the overall album chart (behind only Justin Timberlake).
The excitement for Save Rock And Roll continues to build as Elton John, Courtney Love and Big Sean have been named as collaborators. Also, the band unveiled the video for
“The Phoenix,” which serves as the prequel to the “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)” video which stars 2 Chainz as the lead. Mohegan Sun is pleased to announce Lyndon Stockton as the new Vice President of Player Development/New Markets. Lyndon has served in a variety of roles in the casino industry, most recently holding the title of Senior Vice President of Relationship Marketing & Resort Sales for Revel Entertainment in Atlantic City.
In his new role, Lyndon will help the Mohegan Sun team cultivate relationships with new players.
Lyndon received a bachelor’s degree at Upsala College. Since graduating in 1981, Lyndon has held positions with casino giants like Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino, Harrah’s Marina Hotel & Casino, Caesars World International Corp., Revel Entertainment, spending the majority of his career with Kerzner International (Atlantis Resort) on Paradise Island, Bahamas. In his down time, Lyndon enjoys traveling, cooking and sports.

Two of the top gaming industry leaders in the world attempt to break GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® titles on April 27th at Mohegan Sun
Mohegan Sun includes three casinos and nearly 6,000 slot machines.
Mohegan Sun and Bally Technologies, Inc. are making history as they attempt to break not one, but two world records on Saturday, April 27th. The two gaming giants will attempt to break the records for the Largest Slot Machine Tournament and Most Slot Machines Running The Same Game Simultaneously.
The tournaments, which will be held in two sessions that morning, will be throughout Mohegan Sun’s three casinos: Casino of the Earth, Casino of the Sky and Casino of the Wind. Prizes will be awarded for the top 200 winners with $100,000 up for grabs in cash and Free Slot Play. The first place winner walks away with $50,000 cash! Guests can register that morning beginning at 7:00am in the Wolf Den. All participants will receive $10.00 in Free Slot Play; must be a Player’s Club member to participate.
Representatives from GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS will be on-site to validate the records. Over 5,000 people are estimated to participate in the event.
Breaking ground and records is not new to Mohegan Sun, who currently holds the record for the World’s Largest Wedding Cake set back in February 2004 with a cake measuring 17 feet tall and weighing 15,032 pounds.
