Chris Soules turns farm charm into dancing dynamo at Mohegan Sun during a free Reality Check event. Join the star of The Bachelor as he shows off his ballroom skills with his Dancing with the Stars partner Witney Carson for a live performance followed by an autograph signing on August 14th in The Shops concourse.
Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to time restrictions, signing personalization or photos taken with personal cameras are prohibited. Headshots will be given out at the event. This event is bracelet-only. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of bracelets will be distributed starting at 6:30pm at the signing area. Participants must have a bracelet in order to gain entry into the signing line.

UNCASVILLE, CT (July 6, 2015)- It is with great pleasure that Mohegan Sun announce the promotion of David Martinelli to Chief Marketing Officer for Mohegan Sun. In this new position, Martinelli will set the Strategic Marketing Plan for Mohegan Sun. Additionally, Martinelli will oversee campaign management and analytics, strategic marketing, special events, promotions, loyalty programming, bus marketing, hotel sales, and player development.
Martinelli started out with Mohegan Sun in the Budgets department in 1999 after finishing his undergrad degree at Brown University. He was soon after promoted to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, where he served for four years. His career then took another big jump when he became the Business Manager for the Connecticut Sun WNBA team. The very next transition came in the form of Director of Business Operations for Sports & Entertainment where he resided for four years. Before his current promotion, Martinelli served as the VP of Customer Relationship Management in Marketing.
Martinelli takes on his new position in Marketing as we start through a challenging time that will see increased competition in the Northeast gaming market. He brings with him strong and diverse work experience as well as excellent leadership capabilities. Martinelli is a Rhode Island native and currently resides in North Kingstown with his wife, Kerry, and two sons, David and Daniel.

Tickets on sale this Friday; Special WCTY pre-party, a silent auction and one of Country music’s best in the Wolf Den, set for September 25th to benefit Mothers Against Drunk Driving
UNCASVILLE, CT (July 6, 2015) – Mohegan Sun, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, WCTY and the New London Day are excited to announce that the MADD About Josh Turner concert will be taking place on Friday, September 25th at 8:00pm. Festivities will include a WCTY pre-Party, Meet & Greet and a silent auction.
Donations are $50.00 and $100.00 and go on sale Friday, July 10th at 10:00am at the Mohegan Sun’s Box Office and through Ticketmaster.com. Ticketmaster customers can also call their national toll free Charge By Phone number, 1.800.745.3000; or visit any Ticketmaster outlet. All ticket holders will also get access to the WCTY pre-party, taking place at The Cabaret Theatre from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, which will include food, drinks and live entertainment!
The VIP tickets priced at $100.00 will include preferred seating, access to the WCTY pre-party as well as a meet & greet with Josh Turner at 7:00pm.
Admission to the Wolf Den will begin at 7:00pm. Also, beginning at 3:00pm and continuing through 11:00pm, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a special silent auction, taking place at the Spring Gateway, just outside the Wolf Den and near the Box Office.
Mohegan Sun is proud to be a part of what will be another great night of fun & entertainment. It is the 7th year of the partnership between Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Mohegan Sun. About Josh Turner
Multi-platinum MCA Nashville recording artist Josh Turner is one of Country music’s most recognizable hit-makers. UNCASVILLE, CT (June 23, 2015) – Multi-platinum selling rock band NICKELBACK is forced to cancel all remaining dates of the second leg of the 2015 No Fixed Address North American tour due to lead vocalist Chad Kroeger being diagnosed with an operable cyst on his voice box. Kroeger will undergo surgery in 3 weeks following vocal rest ordered by doctors. This include’s Mohegan Sun Arena’s August 15th concert.

Nickelback cancelled shows over the weekend, hoping the additional rest and treatment would help but an unfortunate diagnosis from Kroeger’s doctor revealed a more serious scenario. ““I am sorry I have to interrupt the party this summer and I am definitely not thrilled with the prospect of being silent for many weeks to come when I could be out there playing for our fans” shared Chad Kroeger. “I am relying on my doctor and his team to help get my voice back in good form as quickly as possible.”
Kroeger’s medical team anticipates a full recovery and the No Fixed Address tour will resume with their previously scheduled European run, in Helsinki, Finland on September 30th.
Nickelback are expected to return to North America in 2016.
