UNCASVILLE, CT (February 9, 2015) —Rock and Roll legend Rob Zombie is scheduled to play Mohegan Sun Arena for a performance on Thursday, June 18th at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $30.00 and go on sale Friday, February 13th through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. As a Rock and Roll icon and filmmaker with a unique vision, Zombie has a reputation for stretching the boundaries of both music and film. At nearly half-a-million tickets sold for 2014, 10,000-seat Arena in Uncasville, CT continues to be ranked with big city & high profile venues across the globe
National industry trade publications, Pollstar Magazine, Billboard Magazine and Venues Today recently released their 2014 Year End Special issues, which reports the top selling tours and top venues across the globe, and all have ranked Mohegan Sun Arena among the top concert venues in the world. With one of the most successful years it’s seen, Mohegan Sun Arena sold nearly half-a-million concert tickets in 2014, making the venue the 26th ranked concert stop worldwide and 8th nationally for all size venues, beating last year’s Pollstar finish of #52 worldwide and #23 nationally.
With the finish of 8th overall and 3rd for its size nationwide, the Uncasville venue places itself in the company of arenas like The Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA, Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Philips Arena in Atlanta, The Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. and Madison Square Garden in New York, NY, all of which have capacities of over 15,000. Mohegan Sun Arena also finishes #1 for all of New England in Pollstar’s 2014 ranks.
The Arena has also received high praise from trade publication Billboard Magazine as one of the top venues of the decade so far and for 2014 the Arena finished at #4 in the world and #3 in the USA for its size (5,000-10,000) in total gross from concert ticket sales.

UNCASVILLE, CT (January 28, 2015) — The popular boxing elimination tournament, Boxcino 2015, will make its season debut, Friday, February 13, 2015, featuring four quarterfinal bouts in the junior middleweight division at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT. The entire Boxicino 2015 series will be televised live on ESPN’s Friday Night Fights.
Promoted by Banner Promotions and Jimmy Burchfield’s Classic Entertainment & Sports (CES), tickets to the February 13th edition of Boxcino 2015, priced at $120.00, $60.00, $35.00 and $28.00, are on sale now. The four quarterfinal fights in the Jr. Middleweight division are as follows:
1. Cleotis Pendarvis (17-4-2, 6 KO’s) will fight Ricardo Pinnell (10-1-1, 6 KO’s)
2. Stanyslav Skorokhod (8-0, 6 KO’s) will fight Michael Moore (13-0, 6 KO’s)
3. Brandon Adams (15-1, 10 KO’s) will take on Alex Perez (18-1, 10 KO’s)
4. Vito Gasparyan (14-3-5, 8 KO’s) will square off with Simeon Hardy (13-0, 10 KO’s).
The winner of bout 1 will fight the winner of bout 2 while the winners of bouts 3 and 4 will fight on April 3rd in the semifinals.
The Boxcino 2014 tournament spawned breakout stars Willie Monroe and Petr Petrov. Both are now world-rated #3 along with future stars Brandon Adams & Fernando Carcamo.
The Boxcino 2015 season debut will feature four quarterfinal bouts with the winners moving on to semifinals which will take place on April 3rd & April 10th.
