IN DETAIL: The final structural beam for the $80 million, 240,040 square-foot project on schedule to open June 2018 will be raised and lowered into place by crane.
Parking will be available in the Winter surface parking lot. Entrance to the event will be near Winter surface lot parking alongside the Winter Garage.
On-site interviews with Mohegan Sun and Mohegan Tribal executives will be available, as well as numerous photo opportunities.
VISUALS: Media are welcome to take guided tours of the construction space. As is tradition, the final steel beam will be topped by a small evergreen tree, as well as the Mohegan, United States and Connecticut state flags.
