Home Base, A Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Program Brings Red Sox World Series Trophy to Mohegan Sun For #PTSDAwarenessMonth

UNCASVILLE, CT (June 26, 2019) – This Friday, June 28th, fans will have the chance to take photos with the 2018 World Series Championship trophy at Mohegan Sun. This #PTSDAwarenessMonth, Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Program is teaming up with the Boston Red Sox to raise awareness of the invisible wounds of war affecting our Veterans, Service Members, and military-connected families; and the work being done at Home Base to provide care and support to our military community.

The trophy will be on display in The Shops at Mohegan Sun from 10:30am – 1:30pm.

Come out to meet the Home Base team, take photos with the World Series Trophy, and enter an exclusive raffle to celebrate baseball season:

  • 4 tickets to the July 27th Red Sox v. Yankees game at Fenway Park
  • 4 Green Monster Red Sox tickets to a future agreed upon date this baseball season
  • David Ortiz Jersey
  • 3 Replica World Series rings
  • Autographed baseball from Red Sox legend Tim Wakefield

Proceeds from the raffle and silent auction will directly benefit Home Base and support the life-saving programs available to Veterans of all eras, Service Members and their Families.

Barrett-Jackson has also donated 250 tickets* for Veterans, Service members, and military-connected families to attend Friday’s collector car auction at Mohegan Sun for free. These tickets will be available for pick up at the Home Base table in The Shops concourse course starting at 9:00am on Friday, June 28th on a first come, first served basis. (*limit to 4 tickets per person)
