Rappel Down 30+ Stories at Mohegan Sun to Support Special Olympics, September 6th

UNCASVILLE, CT (July 29, 2019) – Fearless fans of Special Olympics can sign up now for Over the Edge – a fundraiser hosted by Mohegan Sun to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut that will take place on Friday, September 6th. Those who accept the challenge raise funds online for the opportunity to rappel over 30 stories down Mohegan Sun’s Sky Tower and enjoy amazing views and an exciting and unforgettable experience. No experience is necessary. Participants must raise a minimum of $1,000 to rappel and weigh 100 lbs. or more.

For a ninth consecutive year, Mohegan Sun will host this event and many of its employees will go Over the Edge for Special Olympics, along with individuals and teams from area businesses, organizations and law enforcement departments. Special Olympics athletes will be on hand to cheer on and thank participants. All monies raised will help sustain and expand Special Olympics’ year-round sports, health and fitness programs for individuals of all abilities across the state.
