ABOUT CONNECTICUT CANCER FOUNDATION (CCF)
CCF was founded in 1987 by Connecticut native John Ellis, a former catcher for the New York Yankees and cancer survivor to financially assist Connecticut cancer patients and their families and fund cancer research. For the past 34 years, through its CT Cancer Patient Assistance Program, CCF has granted over $7 million to more than 8,000 Connecticut families dealing with the financial hardship that often follows a cancer diagnosis. In addition, CCF has donated more than $2.5 million to support ongoing cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

NO ONE PLANS FOR CANCER! Here at CCF, we believe that no one should have to worry about a  roof over their heads, lights on and food on the table while battling cancer. CCF aids with everyday living expenses, rent/mortgage payments, utilities, medical co-pays, food, medications and more. This financial assistance helps patients maintain their dignity and lessens the stress that may inhibit their treatment and recovery. The goal is to never turn any family away and increase the grant amount to each family.
