Go Over the Edge at Mohegan Sun for Special Olympics, September 2nd

UNCASVILLE, CT (July 7, 2022) – Special Olympics Connecticut invites thrill-seeking individuals and teams to participate in its annual Over the Edge event at Mohegan Sun on Friday, September 2nd. During Over the Edge, participants will rappel more than 30 floors down Mohegan Sun’s Sky Tower to support Special Olympics’ year-round sports, health and fitness programs for athletes of all abilities across the state. This marks the eleventh year Mohegan Sun will host Over the Edge, which draws many of its participants from local businesses and corporations, community organizations and law enforcement departments. Three Special Olympics athletes are also signed up to go Over the Edge this year. Additional Special Olympics athletes will be on hand to cheer on and thank participants.

Over the Edge participants must raise a minimum of $1,000 to rappel and weigh 100 lbs. or more. No rappelling experience is required.
