Meet the Authors: Jim Calhoun & Dom Amore to host Book Signing at Mohegan Sun on Tuesday, October 13th taking place at 5:00pm!
WHAT: The UConn Men’s basketball team will face Syracuse in an exhibition game at Mohegan Sun Arena on Tuesday, October 13th and ahead of this marquee matchup, Hall of Fame Coach Jim Calhoun and his co-author, Dom Amore, will be signing the their co-written book, More Than a Game: How the UConn Basketball Dynasty Was Built on a Culture of Caring.

IN DETAIL: Hall of Fame coach Jim Calhoun, alongside award-winning sports journalist Dom Amore, shares a compelling memoir chronicling his journey from Braintree, Massachusetts, to building the UConn Men’s Basketball dynasty. More Than a Game goes beyond championships to spotlight the relationships, resilience, and mentorship that shaped Calhoun’s career.
Featuring stories of stars like Ray Allen, Kemba Walker, and Rip Hamilton—alongside unsung heroes—this candid reflection celebrates leadership, community, and the lasting impact of believing in others. UConn fans are invited to a special signing of More Than a Game at Mohegan Sun, just ahead of the 7:00pm tip-off when the UConn Men take on Syracuse. On Monday, October 13th, the UConn women also take on Syracuse for a special exhibition game starting at 6:30pm.
