Performing live at Mohegan Sun Arena on March 31st
UNCASVILLE, CT (October 5, 2016) – Bastille will kick off their “Wild, Wild World Tour” on March 24, 2017 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON. The extensive run will take the Grammy®-nominated U.K. band to arenas and theatres across the U.S. and Canada, including a March 31st show at Mohegan Sun Arena. The show is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $30.00 and go on sale Friday, October 7th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. The band is touring in support of its sophomore album, Wild World (Virgin Records), which debuted in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200 and spent two weeks at #1 on the U.K. albums chart. Wild World is the follow-up to 2013’s Bad Blood, which also debuted at #1 on the U.K. albums chart. Bad Blood has sold more than four million albums worldwide alongside 11 million singles.
“Good Grief,” the first single from Wild World, has more than 39 million streams globally on Spotify to date, including seven million in the U.S. alone. In the U.K., the track reached #1 on Apple Music’s Hot Tracks chart and the Shazam chart.
Dan Smith started Bastille alone in his bedroom five years ago, releasing 300 copies of debut single “Flaws/Icarus.” Joined by Chris Wood (drums), Will Farquarson (guitar) and Kyle Simmons (keyboards), the band lineup was complete. Bastille’s debut album, Bad Blood, contained the 5x platinum single “Pompeii” and the gold-certified tracks “Bad Blood” and “Flaws.” “Pompeii” topped Billboard’s Alternative Songs, Hot Rock Songs, Adult Alternative Songs and Dance Club Songs charts.

Resort and casino will be the presenting sponsor of the 2017 charity golf season to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
Jimmy Fund Golf, the nation’s oldest and largest charity golf program, has announced that Mohegan Sun, one of the most acclaimed
entertainment,dining and gaming resorts in the United States, will be the presenting sponsor of its 2017 season. The charity golf program, consists of more than 160 volunteer-run tournaments held across New England and beyond that benefit the Jimmy Fund which supports patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
As the presenting sponsor of Jimmy Fund Golf, Mohegan Sun will offer premium prizes and other incentives at various Jimmy Fund Golf tournaments. Mohegan Sun will also host events for Dana-Farber patients and staff at the resort during the 2017 season.

At The Disco yesterday announced that they will embark on the Death Of A Bachelor Tour, a headline U.S. arena run in celebration of the success of their gold-certified fifth studio album Death Of A Bachelor, supported by MisterWives and special guests Saint Motel. The 35-city tour kicks off February 24th in Connecticut at Mohegan Sun Arena. The show begins at 7:00pm.
