Composer, singer, author, actor, activist – Sting was born in Newcastle, England before moving to London in 1977 to form The Police with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers. The band released five albums, earned six Grammy awards and in 2003, was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Since 1985, Sting has released 13 solo albums. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of his solo career, 25 Years, the definitive box set collection and the double disc, The Best Of 25 Years were released. Sting 25, the free iPad APP, which was awarded the prestigious Cannes Lion for “Best Design/Aesthetic” at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, is also now available on iTunes and features exclusive all-star performances from his 60th birthday benefit concert, plus rare interviews, photos, music videos and more. Rock & Roll legends to play the Arena on May 9th
Live Nation announced today that due to overwhelming demand, the highly acclaimed RUSH Clockwork Angels Tour will return to North America including a May 9th date at Mohegan Sun Arena.

Rush’s 20th studio album, Clockwork Angels has earned rapturous accolades by fans and press alike since its release June 12th of last year. Born and raised in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, Sully Erna has been a musician since the age of 3, where he began his journey as a drummer initially. Since then, Erna has reaped a myriad of accolades, industry records and other notable stats, some of which include 15 million albums sold worldwide, three consecutive #1 debut albums on the Billboard Top 200 charts, 18 top 10 singles, 6 #1 hit songs and 4 Grammy nominations.
Erna’s released Avalon, his first solo album outside of Godsmack, in 2010. The project marks a big departure from the style of music that Erna is typically known for, utilizing the hypnotic sounds of tribal rhythms, melodic pianos, cellos and haunting vocals.
In 2012, Godsmack released its first official live CD, Live & Inspired. It included a bonus 4 track EP of newly-recorded cover versions as well as the hits “Straight Outta Line,” “Realign,” “Awake,” “Speak,” “I Stand Alone,” “Serenity” and “Batalla De Los Tambores.”

Reprise Records’ Green Day have announced new dates of their “¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ!” Tour. The full-scale North American tour will now Rock Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, April 6th at 8:00pm.
“We want to thank everyone for hanging in with us for the last few months,” said the members of Green Day. “We are very excited to hit the road and see all of you again, though we regret having to cancel more shows.”
Tickets are still valid for the new date. At the chance you cannot attend the concert on this new date, a refund of your ticket purchase is possible via the point of purchase.
