UNCASVILLE, CT (September 20, 2016) – Multi-platinum selling and Grammy Award-nominated artist, Ariana Grande, yesterday revealed details behind her biggest tour yet – The Dangerous Woman Tour. Produced and promoted exclusively by Live Nation, The Dangerous Woman Tour will be live at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, February 17th at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $129.95, $99.95, $79.95 & $59.95 and go on sale Saturday, September 24th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Within less than a year, Ariana Grande captured #1 on the Billboard Top 200 twice—first with her Republic Records debut Yours Truly and also with its 2014 follow-up, My Everything.
Yours Truly yielded the game-changing pop smash “The Way” featuring Mac Miller, which went triple-platinum, landed in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, and seized #1 on the iTunes Overall Top Songs chart. Meanwhile, the platinum-selling My Everything garnered a Grammy Award nomination for “Best Pop Vocal Album” and spawned the six times-platinum hit “Problem.” Upon the single’s release, Ariana became “the youngest woman to debut with over 400K sold first-week,” while the song ranked as the 5th “highest digital song debut for a female artist” and 9th highest ever. During release week, My Everything was #1 on Spotify as Ariana personally rose to #1 on Billboard’s Artists 100 chart. Performing live in Mohegan Sun Arena on April 27th & 28th 
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 15, 2016) – EMI Nashville recording artist Eric Church is hitting the road next spring and will bring the “Holdin’ My Own Tour” to Mohegan Sun Arena on April 27th and April 28th. Both shows will begin at 8:00pm.
Tickets are $99.00, $79.00 & $59.00 and go on sale Friday, September 23rd at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Saturday, September 24th, subject to availability.
For the first time ever, there will be no support act on this tour. Eric Church and the ECB will play two full sets with an intermission in between. In an effort to ensure his core fans get great tickets at face value, Church is revamping the pre-sale and on-sale process to eliminate scalpers from the equation.
“In this era where growing inequality seems to be the norm, we wanted to do everything within our power to put the advantage back in the hands of true fans rather than those that take advantage of the system, and by extension our people,” said John Peets, Church’s manager. “It was important to us to invest time into evaluating and redesigning the ticket buying process and build the technology to level the playing field.”
Church has secured a larger allotment of fan club tickets than in the past so Church Choir members will have much better success buying tickets in the pre-sale. The Church Choir pre-sale will be the ONLY pre-sale. There will be no venue, credit card or radio pre-sales. Church and his team developed a new fan club pre-sale system that allows them to remove scalpers from the pre-sale process before it even happens. Scalpers that are found to be gaming the system and posing as real fans won’t receive the buy link at all.
As on past tours, Church will continue to cancel any and all orders found to be made by scalpers. New for the Holdin’ My Own Tour, Church commissioned a proprietary technology that scrubs ticket purchases using up to 10 different data points and automatically flags orders made by scalpers. Orders may be cancelled at any time and without warning. Church cautions fans to stay away from the secondary market because it’s likely that tickets found there will be invalid by the time the show happens.
Finally, delivery of all ticket orders will be delayed until the days leading up to each show. Church hopes that this will make it impossible for scalpers to complete their transactions.
By doing this – investing time and energy to create a more efficient and balanced model – the Church team is not only communicating directly to the fans the best source for face value tickets, but also building a model that protects fans and can be adopted by the industry as a whole.
“The way this album came together mandated we release it as a surprise, straight to our fans, as it was important for me to deliver the music the same way the creativity hit me—directly and swiftly. What I didn’t anticipate is that it left me scratching my head a little as this year was supposed to be spent writing.” Church continues, “What this year’s open schedule did afford us was time to think through the way the fans experience our music live, and it was important to us that we find a way to stick to these same principles when it came to approaching our shows, down to the way they go on sale.”
Church’s 2014-2015’s The Outsiders World Tour topped Billboard’s “Hot Tours” consistently after Church set new attendance records in five markets. The Outsiders World Tour saw Church performing to over 800,000 fans in more than 65 cities with nearly 20 stops from September 2014 through September of 2015 and was named one of Rolling Stone Magazine’s Must-See Tours.

Celebration on November 11th to feature a benefit concert with performances by Dropkick Murphys, Godsmack, Tony Orlando, Madison Rising

Vets Rock Concert
Mohegan Sun Arena presents a very special Vets Rock Benefit Concert beginning at 7:30pm on November 11th. The concert, emceed by Tony Orlando, will feature performances by Dropkick Murphys, Godsmack, emcee Tony Orlando and Madison Rising with appearances by the NYFD Emerald Society and Tat Holler. Wounded Veterans VIP Experience
Mohegan Sun and Til Duty Is Done are extremely proud to announce an exclusive partnership with American Airlines to give a very special group of wounded Veterans a once in a lifetime experience. American Airlines will be chartering a commercial jet to fly 24 veterans and their families from Wounded Warrior Transition Units around the country to Connecticut for an unforgettable “High Roller” experience during Vets Rock. The veterans will arrive in Connecticut on Wednesday, November 9th and will be put up in Mohegan Sun’s hotel for three nights with VIP privileges and services their entire stay.
The Wall That Heals
From November 10th through November 13th, The Wall That Heals will be set up and on display for visitors in the outdoor Winter Parking lot at Mohegan Sun. A mobile replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, The Wall That Heals bears the names of the more than 58,000 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam and honors the millions of Americans who served during the Vietnam War. The half-scale replica of the The Wall and a mobile Education Center spread The Wall’s healing legacy to hundreds of thousands across the country.
Career Fair & Workshops
Vets Rock is also taking over Mohegan Sun’s Convention Center. All convention rooms and the full 38,000 square-foot Uncas Ballroom will be converted into a conference space featuring a career fair, resume assistance, professional suit fittings and more.
Half of the Convention Center will host the Hiring Our Heroes Workshop with interview prep and resume assistance. Guests will also have the opportunity to be fitted for a professional suit by Save-A-Suit. From 10:00am to 6:00pm, veterans are invited to take part in the career fair featuring at least 100 employers from throughout the state. The career fair will take place in the other half of the Convention Center. A family area will be available where veterans can bring their children while they explore the services available. Mohegan Sun rolls out the red carpet for a celebrity packed 20 year celebration
UNCASVILLE, CT (September 8, 2016) – Mohegan Sun’s 20th anniversary celebrations continue to grow when some of the hottest celebrities stop by this October.
First up in the star-studded line up is a Special Edition Reality Check featuring stars of The Young & the Restless by Soap Opera Festivals Inc. on Sunday, October 9th. Meet Christel Khalil (Lily Ashby), Christian Jules Le Blanc (Michael Baldwin), Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) and Sean Carrigan (Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn), participate in a live Q&A and even score a photo op with your favorite cast members.

The excitement starts early on Friday, October 14th with a day full of unique entertainment to kick of the 20th Anniversary celebration. The 4 bands/musicians that receive the most overall votes from the audience will compete in the finals on November 30th in front of expert judges to vie for the $5,000 grand prize. 2nd place receives $1,000.
