Comedienne will deliver stand-up act in the Arena on April 9th
Talk show host, author and stand-up comedian Chelsea Handler announced today that she will celebrate the release of her third book, Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang, by headlining a 21-city tour presented by Belvedere Vodka, which will stop at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, April 9th at 8:00pm with special guest Brad Wollack.
Tickets are $50.00 and go on sale Friday, January 15th at 10:00am through Ticketmaster. As one of the nation’s fastest-rising female stand-ups, Chelsea has performed to sold-out audiences at venues and festivals across the country, including, most recently, the prestigious Carnegie Hall. Her comedy mixes fearless honesty, ironic riffs and self-deprecations with an abundance of always-fresh material.
Although she regularly appears on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, has co-hosted The View, was profiled on Nightline, and has been featured on Today, LIVE with Regis and Kelly and Late Night with David Letterman, Chelsea is best known for her own E! Entertainment show, Chelsea Lately, which airs weeknights at 11:00pm. Consistently the highest-rated program on E!, Chelsea Lately has been picked up through 2012,providing Chelsea with the perfect showcase for what she does best: comment on pop culture and entertainment news while interacting with the public. The daily program offers a tongue-in-cheek look at entertainment news, celebrity truths and rumors that just won’t die, and other hot topics of the day. Bringing refreshing new energy to the late night arena, Chelsea Lately is an authentic and hilarious commentary on the celebrity culture around us.
A three-time published author, Chelsea’s latest book, Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang hits stores on March 9th. In the new opus, Chelsea mines her family, her sex life, her career, and her distinctively outrageous worldview to bring readers an outrageous no-holds-barred account of life on the ridiculous side. In addition to her concerts, Chelsea is expected to meet her fans at bookstores in cities along the route of her upcoming tour.

“Jay-Z is the greatest rapper alive. Anyone who was in attendance at his sold-out KeyArena concert Saturday night can attest to that fact. Hova, Young Hov, Jigga, Hovito, whatever you call him, Shawn Carter is on top of the rap game and there were no signs of him stepping down any time soon during his career-spanning two-hour show.” Seattle Post Intelligencer (KeyArena Review), October 19, 2009
Young Jeezy’s latest studio effort, The Recession, debuted at #1 in September of last year, moving 260,000 units in its first week to give the rapper his second #1 album.
Trey Songz released his third studio album, Ready, late last year. The album debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the top 20 hit “Successful,” a track which features Canadian entertainer Drake.
