UNCASVILLE, CT (November 14, 2024) – Mohegan Sun is excited to announce a partnership with A.T.Y Hospitality that brings Sift Bake Shop and A.T.YBar & Bonbons to the property this upcoming spring. Located in the Winter Entrance, Sift Bake Shop at Mohegan Sun, a family-owned French inspired bakery, will be the brand’s fourth in New England. Sift Bake Shop specializes in scratch made signature desserts, artisanal breads, pastries, macarons, and more. All items are all made in-house daily celebrating the freshest ingredients and modern techniques, with a nod to the traditional foundations of classic pastry. The establishment owned and operated by Pastry Chef Adam Young delivers high quality, unique and delicious food in a warm and welcoming environment.
Sift Bake Shop at Mohegan Sun will launch in tandem with A.T.Y Bar & Bonbons presented by Grey Goose®, a boutique cocktail bar that inspires elegance in everyday life. Their list of signature cocktails, bonbons and confections are thoughtfully executed with the highest quality of ingredients. Bonbons are crafted delicately by hand to ensure an elevated and delicious experience.

TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge will be offering special Roasted Duck Dumplings with Szechuan garlic gravy, spiced fig, and plum chutney for $25.
Those looking for a full three course meal can head over to Todd English’s Tuscany where they’ll be offering a special prix fixe menu for $50. For the first course, guests can enjoy a Wood-roasted Pear and Gorgonzola Salad made with candied walnut, pomegranate reduction, arugula, and balsamic vinaigrette. The main course will consist of Sage-brined Turkey served with potato stuffing, roasted root vegetables, sweet potato with pecan crumble, bacon Dijon Brussels peddles, grappa cranberry sauce, and sage turkey gravy. For the third and final course, guests can indulge in Pecan Bread Pudding with vanilla gelato.
TheLansdowne Irish Pub & Music House will be offering special Turkey Sliders for $15, a Roast Turkey Dinner for $32, and a specialty dessert for $12. At this event, attendees will discover Two Roads Brewing Company’s unique selection of brews and sample their classics and special projects. The day two action of Sun Wine & Food Fest 2025 gets started in the Earth Ballroom with Suntory Global Spirits Presents: Asian Market from 6:00pm – 9:00pm where guests can immerse themselves in a true culinary adventure. Fans of Asian cuisine will watch as renowned celebrity chef and Food Network star, Esther Choi, teams up with fellow chefs to cook up incredible “Street Food” style fare made with masterful techniques and bold flavors. Guests looking to secure a sneak peek into all the extraordinary wines and culinary excellence that the Grand Tasting has to offer can make their way to the Earth Expo & Convention Center from 7:00pm – 10:00pm for the Grand Tasting Preview. To kick the day off, fine food and vino enthusiasts can attend a celebration of wine and culinary mastery at Sun Wine & Food Fest’s signature event, the exquisite Grand Tasting, from Noon – 5:00pm in the Earth Expo & Convention Center. Attendees can taste from more than 1,000 varieties of wine, beer, and spirits, sample exquisite dishes, and watch renowned chefs present live culinary demonstrations as they showcase their skills and share the tricks of the trade. From 4:00pm – 6:00pm in the Earth Ballroom, Vintage Cru will give guests an unparalleled opportunity to experience some of the world’s most revered and rare wines. Those in attendance will taste an exclusive lineup of exceptional selections, featuring aged bottles from renowned vineyards and highly sought-after vintages. UNCASVILLE, CT (October 10, 2024) – The Shed Restaurant, officially opened on Wednesday, October 9th in Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Earth, across from Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana. This new offering is the brainchild of co-founders John Tunney & John Rieger from BALLO Italian Restaurant.
“Over the last few years, we’ve been working really hard to grow our non-gaming business throughout our property with new restaurants and creating immersive dining experiences,” said Jeff Hamilton, president and general manager of Mohegan Sun. “I believe when The Shed opens, people are going to want to come here to visit The Shed, not come to Mohegan Sun and eat there because they happen to be here. As we choose food & beverage operators and as we open new restaurants that is always our goal – to put a great restaurant inside of a great property.”

The Shed Restaurant has created more than 100 new jobs, including a culinary team led by Chef Roberto Baez. Chef Roberto’s menu offers a bright take on American comfort food and features a robust list of specialty brunch, lunch and dinner menu items — from the indulgent to the healthful – with the full menu available all day. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available, and many menu items can be customized to be a vegan dish, making The Shed Restaurant the only restaurant at the property to offer vegan dining. The Shed’s enticing brunch, lunch & dinner menus are only made better by the ultra-friendly team and rustic beach-chic ambiance that incorporates warm textured woods, pops of color and intriguing works of art.
Local contractors involved in the project include electric work by Native Sons Ltd., based in Plainville, CT and interior design and architecture completed by id3a, based in Glastonbury, CT.
The Shed is an 8,785 square-foot space, complete with a 2,150 square-foot dining area, and a 3,150 square-foot scratch kitchen plus walk-in units. The space seats 205 guests, including 11 seats at a full bar. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis with the ability to join a text-based waitlist at the door.

UNCASVILLE, CT (October 1, 2024) – This past Saturday evening, on September 28th, Mohegan Sun’s revamped outdoor Sun Patio venue played host to an all-ages event featuring a popular Taylor Swift tribute band. A crowd of more than 2,150 enjoyed the special evening of their favorite hit songs, fun activities, and food trucks by way of Philly’s, Supreme Hot Dogs and NoRA Cupcake Company.
“We made some major improvements to the outdoor space known as Sun Patio ahead of the summer and with that, Mohegan Sun successfully hosted a variety of events, including 30+ free concerts,” -said Jeff Hamilton, President & GM of Mohegan Sun. “This Taylor Swift celebration was a tremendous showcase of what we envisioned for this unique outdoor amenity, and it became the largest ticketed event yet hosted on the new Sun Patio, with more than 2,150 enjoying the special event!”
Officially billed as “Are you Ready For iT? A Musical Tribute,” a talented tribute band based in Connecticut hit the stage just after 6:00pm. Using costumes, choreography and signature elements from Taylor’s performances, the band captured the thrill of one of the most iconic acts in music today. In addition to a night filled with chart-topping renditions, the event featured group seating around fire pits, delicious bites, a photo booth and a friendship bracelet station.
