Fourth Annual Sun BrewFest Returns

Uncasville, CT (August 20, 2015) – Sun BrewFest, hosted by Chef Brian Duffy, returns to Mohegan Sun on Friday, October 2nd through Sunday, October 4th featuring with a variety of finely crafted brews including Yuengling, Two Roads, Wachusett Brewing and more! Treat yourself to a weekend of trivia, cornhole and beer tasting capped off by the exceptional Sunday BrewBrunch.
Beer Trivia Night
The Sun BrewFest fun begins on Friday night during a special beer themed trivia night inside the Uncas Ballroom. Gather your friends and tap into your brew knowledge for just $20.00 per person. Tickets are available through Mohegan Sun Box Office or at the door and include entry plus one free beer. A cash bar will also be open throughout the night!
Saturday Tasting Sessions
Introduce your tastebuds to  200 of the best beers around during one of the two tasting sessions on Saturday, October 3rd. Explore a wide variety of breweries pouring out 2 ounce samples of their favorite beers for guests to enjoy in souvenir, mini pilsner glasses. Try and find your favorite as you taste your way through Craft Beers, Microbrews, Imports, Domestics and ciders. The DC Project Band keeps the entertainment going all day long inside Mohegan Sun’s Uncas Ballroom.
Tickets to the tasting sessions are $25.00 each. The first session runs from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and the second session runs from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.
BrewBrunch
The fun continues to flow on Sunday during a new and improved BrewBrunch sponsored by Goose Island and Absolut from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The BrewBrunch, inside Todd English’s Tuscany, features an array of delicious brunch items, some with a BrewFest twist! Sip on champagne, toast with Goose Island or create your very own signature Bloody Mary at the Absolut Blood Mary bar to round out your brew-filled weekend.
Tickets to the BrewBrunch are $42.00 each and include all food and one sponsored drink(a beer, bloody mary or glass of champagne). Reservations for BrewBrunch are to be made through Todd English’s Tuscany.

Sun WineFest Tickets Go On Sale For 2016

Tickets for the 13th annual Sun WineFest go on sale Monday, August 29th
Uncasville, CT (August 12, 2015) –The 13th annual Sun WineFest kicks off on Friday, January 29th, 2016. Get the weekend rolling with Bourbon Tasting and stick around for all the usual favorites including Elite Cru, Celebrity Chef Dine Around, Grand Tasting and more! Tickets for all Sun WineFest events go on sale Friday, August 29th through Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
The Grand Tasting
Sample over 1,000 varieties of wine and beer during Sun WineFest’s main event, the Sun WineFest Grand Tasting, on Saturday, January 30th and Sunday, January 31st. Sip and sample some of the best in wine and beer inside the Convention Center and Uncas Ballroom. Foodies can sample signature dishes from the region’s most highly rated restaurants. The Main Culinary Stage is the backdrop for two days of celebrity chef demonstrations along with fun-filled contests.
Tickets to the Saturday Sun WineFest Grand Tasting are $95.00; tickets for the Sunday tasting are $70.00. The event runs from Noon to 5:00pm both days.
Bourbon Tasting
Get your WineFest weekend started early and warm your palate during Bourbon Tasting inside the Uncas Ballroom. The tasting, which runs from 6:00pm to 9:00pm invites guests to mix and mingle while getting a taste of the finest bourbon, cigars and  delectable hors d’oeuvres.
Tickets to the Bourbon Tasting are $90.00 per person.
Elite Cru Tasting
Taste “the-best-of-the-best” vintages and get one-on-ones with the winemakers during the Sun WineFest Elite Cru Tasting. On Saturday, learn the principals behind their craft and get a closer look into some of the finer wines Sun WineFest has to offer. This event runs from 3:00pm to 5:00pm inside The Cabaret Theatre.
Tickets to Elite Cru Tasting are $210.00 each. The ticket price includes the Elite Cru Tasting as well as entry into Saturday’s Sun WineFest Grand Tasting and a $50.00 iGourmet gift card.
Celebrity Chef Dine Around
On Saturday, January 30th guests are invited to the Celebrity Chef Dine Around to watch the masters at work. Celebrity chefs will be on-hand serving up their best recipes at several live cooking stations. Enjoy the pairing of fine wine or premium beer to match each signature dish.
The Celebrity Chef Dine Around will take place inside the Uncas Ballroom from 8:00pm to 11:00pm. Tickets are $199.00 each.

Carlo’s Bakery Grand Opening

Carlo’s Bakery, the setting of the hit TLC series Cake Boss, will open its doors in the Winter section of Casino of the Earth on Saturday, September 12th. Carlo’s Bakery at Mohegan Sun is the brand’s eleventh location and first ever New England venue. The bakery will offer all the same famous Italian pastries and specialty cakes that originated in Hoboken.
