UNCASVILLE, CT (February 26, 2018) – Announced today, legendary Rock musicians and cultural icons John Fogerty and ZZ Top will come together for the “Blues and Bayous Tour” this spring. The tour, which opens on May 25th, will make stops across the USA from the East Coast to the West, with Mohegan Sun Arena set for Sunday, May 27th at 7:30pm.

As co-founder of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Fogerty’s career spans 50 years and he is hailed as one of the most influential musicians in Rock history. As the writer, singer and producer of numerous classic hits including “Born on the Bayou,” “Green River,” “Proud Mary” and “Bad Moon Rising,” Fogerty has been honored as one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists, 100 Greatest Songwriters and 100 Greatest Singers by Rolling Stone. Earning induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Songwriters Hall of Fame and Baseball Hall of Fame, he is also a New York Times best-selling author for his memoir, Fortunate Son: My Life, My Music.
ZZ Top holds the distinction of being one of the longest running bands with the original line-up. Billy F Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard reflect their Texas roots in everything with their non-stop Rock and Blues, resulting in over 50 million albums sold worldwide. Dunham released his latest standup special, Jeff Dunham: Relative Disaster, on Netflix in September 2017. The special features Dunham along with his ill-behaved and slightly demented posse of characters for a gleeful skewering of family and politics. UNCASVILLE, CT (February 15, 2018) – GRAMMY® Award-winning, acclaimed Alternative Rock pioneers The Smashing Pumpkins today announced the Shiny And Oh So Bright Tour, their first tour in nearly 20 years to feature founding members Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin and James Iha. Produced by Live Nation, the 36-city tour will kick off in Glendale, AZ on July 12, 2018 and visit North American arenas throughout the summer. The tour is set to hit Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, July 29th at 7:00pm.

The monumental Shiny And Oh So Bright Tour, which coincides with the 30th anniversary of the band’s formation, will highlight music from the group’s inception through 2000, and will exclusively feature material from their groundbreaking debut Gish through Siamese Dream, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Adore and Machina. Longtime Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Jeff Schroeder will also take part, as the band moves to a three guitar lineup to better emulate the signature tones and textures of their albums.
