Athleta at Mohegan Sun will be open daily beginning at 10:00am.
Sunday through Thursday, the store will be open through 7:00pm, and through 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday. On Wednesday, August 9th, Athleta will be rolling out the Mohegan Sun Back to School Bash as part of this Grand Opening Week Celebration where all teachers will receive 10% off their purchase with a valid ID. On Thursday, August 10th, Athleta at Mohegan Sun will have a Healthcare Worker Appreciation Day, where healthcare workers can sign up for a WellPro discount with a valid ID. A Tesla Sales & Delivery Center will Open this Fall at Mohegan Sun providing guests the opportunity to Purchase cars from the Global EV Leader
UNCASVILLE, CT (July 26th, 2023) – Mohegan Sun, one of the premier
entertainment destinations in the United States, has announced that it is amping up its game by opening a state-of-the-art Tesla Electric Vehicle (EV) Showroom. Set to open this fall, the unique Tesla Sales & Delivery Center will be located in The Shops at Mohegan Sun. Locals and visitors alike will soon have the chance to take home the Model Y, Model 3, Model S and more. Guests will also be able to learn more about Tesla’s solar and storage products.
This announcement between Mohegan Sun and the global EV leader, Tesla, creates a first-of-its-kind venture in Connecticut with the premiere Sales & Delivery center operating on Sovereign Tribal land.

Tesla will also collaborate with Mohegan to integrate local talent into its workforce development programs, which can provide Mohegan Tribal members and Mohegan Team Members with opportunities to learn diverse skills and technician training, potentially paving the way for exciting career opportunities with Tesla.
The Shops at Mohegan Sun is a 130,000-square-foot two-story dining and shopping pavilion that connects Casino of the Sky to Casino of the Earth. Its breathtaking setting was designed by Rockwell Group and is home to exciting nightlife, award-winning dining and retail locations like COACH, Tommy Bahama, Robert Graham, LIDS and soon, Athleta and Tesla.

UNCASVILLE, CT (July 18, 2023) – All are invited to sign up for Over the Edge – an exciting fundraiser that will have participants rappelling more than 30 floors down Mohegan Sun’s Sky Tower to support Special Olympics athletes on Friday, September 1st. The event will offer views that are amazing and a feeling that’s invigorating! Guests who are interested in participating and fundraising can visit soct.org to begin their adventure. Those who prefer to keep two feet on the ground can make a donation instead. All proceeds will support Special Olympics’ year-round sports, health and fitness programs for athletes of all abilities throughout Connecticut.
This marks the 12th year Mohegan Sun will host the Over the Edge event for Special Olympics Connecticut. The event draws many of its participants – and spectators – from area businesses and corporations, community organizations and law enforcement departments. In addition, several Special Olympics athletes have committed to go Over the Edge this year and more Special Olympics athletes will be on hand to cheer on and thank those brave enough to rappel.
Over the Edge participants must raise a minimum of $1,000 to rappel and weigh 100 lbs. or more. No rappelling experience is required, as day-of training and continuous support is provided throughout the experience.
