Celebrate the first signs of summer at Hot Summer Fun’s kickoff event, Sun BBQFest! Get fired up for some finger-lickin’ fun during Sun BBQFest. On June 13th & 14th, savor the flavors of the best barbeque around with festivities featuring live music, a beer trailer, barbeque battles and so much more you can sink your teeth into!
Mohegan Sun lights up the sky with an extraordinary fireworks display at the Mid-Summer and End of Summer Sizzlers. Double Up Mondays
Beginning Monday, June 15th, guests can earn double Momentum Dollars from 6:00am to Midnight. Bring a friend to sign up for a Momentum card and double the fun with $10.00 Free Slot Play for you both to enjoy. Season’s Buffett will offer two lunches for $30.00 from 11:00am to 5:00pm then two dinners for $40.00 until close. Cash Dash Tuesdays
Let the money fly all summer long inside Mohegan Sun’s Cash Cube where up to $100,000 is given away every Tuesday. Beginning Tuesday, June 16th, every half hour from Noon to 2:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm, one lucky Momentum member playing their favorite slot machine will have a chance to enter the Cash Cube. Power-Your-Play Wednesdays
All summer long, Momentum members can test their luck with PowerPlay Bonusing. Starting Wednesday, June 17th players can try their hand at Virtual Racing when earning 1 status point from 10:00am to Noon, 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 8:00pm to 10:00pm. Weekends heat up at Mohegan Sun during Hot Summer Fun. Dance under the stars at GLO – the only nighttime pool party in New England, soak up the sun during three featured Day GLO parties, enjoy a drink under the world’s largest indoor planetarium dome at VISTA Lounge at Wombi Rock or party the night away at MIST, a steamy, contemporary venue that sits beneath the water wall in Casino of the Wind.

Rock bands to play Mohegan Sun Arena on July 30th
UNCASVILLE, CT (May 11, 2015) – 3 Doors Down has announced the band’s summer touring plans will feature a joint run with Seether for more than a dozen dates. Mohegan Sun Arena welcomes the Rock tour for a Thursday, July 30th concert, set for 7:30pm. Prior to the tour, the band will be in the studio recording a new album with multi-platinum hit record producer Matt Wallace. 3 Doors Down singer Brad Arnold shares, “We’re excited to be heading in to the studio with Matt to make a new 3 Doors Down record! We can’t wait to get some of these new songs we’ve been playing live put to tape. This is shaping up to be our best album yet!”

Since forming in 1995, Mississippi Rock quintet 3 Doors Down has sold more than 16 million albums worldwide, garnered three Grammy nominations, two American Music Awards, and five BMI Pop Awards for songwriting, including BMI’s coveted “Songwriter of the Year” award. The Rockstar Energy UPROAR Festival kicks off year five on August 15th with a powerful lineup that includes multi-platinum mainstage bands Godsmack along with Skillet, Pop Evil, These Raven Skies and Tattered. The 2014 Rockstar Energy UPROAR festival hits Mohegan Sun Arena for a 7:00pm show on Wednesday, August 20th.
