IN DETAIL: Star of The Walking Dead, Michael Cudlitz, makes a special appearance in The Shops concourse as part of Mohegan Sun’s Reality Check. The acclaimed actor who plays Sergeant Abraham Ford in the hit horror series The Walking Dead greets fans on January 16th with a live Q&A at 7:00pm followed by a signing at 7:30pm.
Participation is one a first-come first-served basis. Due to time restrictions, Michael Cudlitz will only be signing one piece of memorabilia or the headshot given out at the event per person. There will be no personal photos or photo personalization. This event is bracelet-only. Bracelets will be distributed at 5:00pm at the signing area in The Shops concourse. Participants must have a bracelet in order to gain entry into the signing line.

Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to time restrictions, signing personalization or photos taken with personal cameras are prohibited. Chubby Checker will only be signing copies of his latest album Snapshot. This event is bracelet-only. Snapshot must be purchased at Spin Street on the day of the event in order to receive a bracelet for entry into the signing event.

Todd English’s Tuscany gifts guests with a four course Christmas Day meal from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. The $55.00 per person ($90.00 per person with wine pairings) dinner features a wood roasted pear salad, veal ravioli in a mushroom thyme cream sauce and a pan roasted crab topped halibut. For dessert indulge in a seasonally delicious eggnog trifle tiramisu.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, BALLO Italian Restaurant features two main dishes. Choose between a $59.00 per person Surf & Turf featuring a 14 oz. New York strip steak, 6 oz. butter poached lobster tail with slow roasted tomatoes or a $29.00 per person red wine risotto, duck confit, figs and robiola.
The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House offers baked honey glazed ham with butternut squash and the vegetable of the day paired with a caramel eggnog martini for $34.00 on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The restaurant opens at 11:30am on Christmas Eve with karaoke at 9:00pm and 5:00pm on Christmas Day.

Mohegan Sun’s featured New Year’s Eve party pops off at 10:30pm inside the Uncas Ballroom on Thursday, December 31st. This party is guaranteed to be unforgettable with dancing and music by Rob Pisani & Rob Necega, an open bar, champagne toast at Midnight and 1:00am breakfast buffet. Tickets start at $100.00 and are available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and Ticketmaster.com starting Friday, November 20th at 10:00am. The night of the event, tickets can be purchased for $150.00 at the door. This is a 21+ event; VIP bottle service seating areas available for purchase. Countdown Party in The Shops at Mohegan Sun
Family, friends and all in between are welcome to celebrate the New Year in The Shops at Mohegan Sun from 9:00pm to 3:00am on Thursday, December 31st. The Shops come alive with music by DJae Mêlée, a countdown to Midnight capped off by an incredible pyrotechnic display. At the Wolf Den, the best Disco Funk group around, Boogie Wonder Band, will be performing free shows at 8:00pm and 11:00pm. Come early as seating is limited. All guests must be 21 or older.

Literature lovers unite this January and February when two Winning Authors events visit Mohegan Sun to rein in 2016, each featuring New York Times bestselling authors.
On Saturday, January 23rd meet Karen White, Lauren Willig and Beatriz Williams, authors behind the historical novel The Forgotten Room when they are featured in a Winning Authors event. The trio will be hosting a live discussion inside The Cabaret Theatre at 3:00pm then signing copies of their popular book in The Shops concourse beginning at 4:00pm.
Then on Friday, February 12th meet Lisa Gardner when she is featured in her own Diva Fridays edition of Winning Authors. Gardner will be featuring her brand new psychological suspense novel Find Her, just three days after it’s released. This event will begin with a 7:30pm live discussion in The Cabaret Theatre followed by her book signing at 8:30pm in The Shops concourse.
