American Idol® Live! returns this summer for another hit tour to showcase the season’s talented top Finalists and stops in Uncasville, CT for a Saturday, August 17th performance in Mohegan Sun Arena at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $71.00 & $61.00 and go on sale Friday, May 3rd through Ticketmaster at 10:00am. American Idol® Live! gives fans the unique opportunity to be up close and personal with Season 12 Idol Finalists Amber Holcomb, Angie Miller, Burnell Taylor, Candice Glover, Curtis Finch Jr, Devin Velez, Janelle Arthur, Kree Harrison, Lazaro Arbos, and Paul Jolley. Plus, Aubrey Cleland joins the Tour as the 11th Idol Finalist thanks to the AT&T American Idol® Live! Tour Fan Save, voted on by the Idol fans.
Finalists will perform favorite moments from the season as well as never before seen performances. The American Idol® season Finale will air on FOX on May 16th but this season’s fan-favorites will continue on with the 2013 Live! Tour. Celebrate your number one lady on May 12th
Some of the most popular spots inside Mohegan Sun are helping to celebrate Mother’s Day this May 12th. Thank Mom for sitting through those countless baseball games and dance recitals with deals at places like BALLO Italian Restaurant & Social Club, Galina’s and many more!
Start off the morning with a special brunch menu in addition to the regular offerings at Hash House A Go Go, one of Mohegan Sun’s newest restaurants. This special menu, served Mother’s Day from 7:30am to 5:00pm, features “Roast Chicken Betsy” served with Griddled Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Fruit, a Strawberry Frosted Flake Pancake, HHAGG Sausage Waffle and Hash House Steak O’ Day. Limited reservations will be taken by calling the restaurant.
Todd English’s Tuscany will also be offering special menus for both brunch and dinner. Brunch will run from 10:00am-2:00pm and will be $38.00 per adult and $14.00 for children ages six to twelve (tax and gratuity not included). Mom and her family can enjoy a plethora of dishes including Omelets and Eggs made-to-order, chilled offerings, both a pasta and carving station, a variety of hot offerings including Chocolate, Hazelnut & Banana French Toast with Vanilla Sauce, a dessert station and a complimentary glass of champagne or Mimosa beginning at 11:00am. The special dinner offerings will be available from 4:00pm-10:00pm and will include an Insalata of Watermelon, Heirloom Tomatoes, Arugula, Feta Cheese, Spiced Macadamia Nuts and Creamy Red Wine Vinaigrette for $9.00 and Butter Poached Maine Lobster, Petite Asparagus and Roasted Lemon Risotto for $60.00.
For lunch or dinner on May 12th, BALLO Italian Restaurant & Social Club is offering two special dishes in addition to their regular menu. The first is a Jumbo Lump Crab Salad with Asparagus for $24.00 and the other, a Slow Roasted Halibut with Snow Peas, Breakfast Radish and Radicchio for $36.00.

Popular comedian will perform his standup comedy in The Cabaret Theatre
Talented actor, stand-up comedian and star of the hit CBS television series Mike and Molly, Billy Gardell, is set to take the stage at The Cabaret Theatre on Wednesday, July 17th for two shows at 8:00pm and 10:00pm.

Gardell took the long road to Hollywood, stopping at every small town lounge, military base and comedy club along the way. His comedy act took him to Los Angeles where his dedication to acting, along with touring as a stand-up comedian, allowed him to grow consistently in both arenas. His stand-up show is a powerhouse. His grounded, down-to-earth point of view strikes a strong chord with American audiences. Stories about his rough childhood, wild adolescence and new family life are executed with the skill of a master craftsman.
As a stand-up comic, his comedy specials, Billy Gardell: Halftime, premiered on Comedy Central and Billy Gardell Presents Road Dogs premiered on Showtime. In addition he makes regular appearances on NFL Today on CBS Sports.
Gardell has had numerous television and motion picture roles. Before Mike and Molly he co-starred in the critically acclaimed series Lucky. Other credits include Yes Dear, Judging Amy, My Name is Earl, The Practice and Monk. Gardell was also in the movie Avenging Angelo, Bad Santa and You, Me & Dupree.

IN DETAIL: Mohegan Sun’s most in-demand, late night bingo game returns in May! Bingo After Dark, a bingo game set against a neon backdrop, is back inside Mohegan Sun’s Uncas Ballroom for the sixth time since 2012.
The doors open at 9:00pm and the event kicks off at 10:00pm. The cost is $20.00 per person and covers eight games of bingo, entertainment and more. Prize pools vary from $1,500 to $3,000 per game with a total of $15,000 in cash being awarded. A DJ will be on-hand to spin tunes between rounds and a cash bar will also be available.
Tickets are on sale now at the Mohegan Sun Box Office and Ticketmaster. Must be 21 years and a Player’s Club member to attend.
