Stop by two of the newest restaurants at Mohegan Sun, Hash House A Go Go and The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House, for Restaurant Week specials that will have you coming back for more. At Hash House A Go Go, enjoy a featured dish of Hash House Sage Fried Chicken and Waffles. This unique offering includes two Sage Fried Chicken Breasts atop a Bacon Waffle tower with hot Maple Reduction and Fried Leeks for only $12.95.
Then head upstairs to The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House where Irish specials are featured on the menu all week long! On Sunday for $16.00 per person, traditional Irish Roast with Roasted Potatoes and Vegetables will be served. For Monday’s menu at $12.00 per person, enjoy a Battered Sausage supper with Fries and Batchelors Beans. Tuesday is serving up Baked Irish Ham with Boiled Potatoes, Braised Cabbage and Mustard for $14.00 per person then Wednesday’s dish is a Roast Turkey dinner with Mashed Potatoes, daily Vegetables and Gravy for $16.00 per person. Next, enjoy some pasta with Orecchiette, Broccoli Rabe Pesto, Pine Nuts and Cherry Tomatoes. A House Salad with Tomato, Onion and Balsamic Dressing or the featured soup for an appetizer. Then choose an entrée from a list including Penne and Blackened Chicken, Broccoli, Tomatoes and Alfredo Sauce, a 23.Burger with choice of Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and French Fries, or Beer Battered Fish & Chips with Housemade Tartar Sauce.

Season 11 runners-up, Lacey Schwimmer and Kyle Massey, star in Reality Check event on December 28th
You saw them team up on the dance floor back in 2010, now meet Lacey Schwimmer and Kyle Massey of Dancing With The Stars at Mohegan Sun for a special Reality Check event on Friday, December 28th.
This free night kicks off 7:00pm in The Cabaret Theatre where Lacey & Kyle will be performing a routine and holding a live Q&A segment. Then at 8:00pm in The Shops concourse, “Samba” your way over to grab a spot in line as the duo signs autographs and takes photos with their loyal fans! This is sure to be an event worthy of the coveted Mirrorball Trophy!

Not only is The Shops Concourse New Year’s Eve Countdown back and bigger than ever but this year, other highlights include Cyndi Lauper in The Arena, fantastic comedy in The Cabaret Theatre, The Groovematics in The Wolf Den, but Mohegan Sun is your stop for exclusive parties in a number of our venues including the brand-new Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House and MIST inside Casino of the Wind opening New Year’s Even night, among several others.
PARTY IN THE SHOPS CONCOURSE
One of the best places to be inside Mohegan Sun when the clock strikes Midnight is alongside thousands of other partygoers in The Shops at Mohegan Sun. DJae Mêlée will be live outside Todd English’s Tuscany and big screen projectors will be placed throughout the concourse to display the countdown broadcast live from Times Square in New York. New Year’s Eve will also mark a new beginning for one destination in Mohegan Sun when the all-new MIST opens. Located in Casino of the Wind, MIST was designed right next to the 35-foot high electronic and animated water wall. DJ K-Otic will be on-hand for this grand opening party starting at 9:00pm with no cover charge, party favors and a champagne toast at Midnight. During the grand opening party on New Year’s Eve, guests can win a two night trip, including air fare, to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas! “The Funniest New Year’s Eve Party In Connecticut” will bring great comedians to The Cabaret Theatre to Laugh-in 2012 featuring “The Coach” Tom Whiteley, Jim David & Joey Vega. The show starts at 10:00pm on Monday, December 31st and tickets are $39.75. This show is on sale now.
New Year’s Eve also brings Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot to The Wolf Den for a 8:00pm show. Then later in the evening, The Groovematics will be live in The Wolf Den for an 11:00pm performance.

Mohegan Sun’s culinary team is planning great dishes and specials for the final day of 2012. Guests can expect nothing but the best from the likes of Ballo Italian Restaurant & Social Club, Todd English’s Tuscany, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville and more.
A dinner and a party is planned at Ballo Italian Restaurant & Social Club as they will be taking dinner reservations in the main dining room until 9:00pm and in the restaurant until
Midnight. There will be a special New Year’s Eve party taking place inside Ballo as well where all non dinner guests can attend for a $30.00 cover charge starting at 10:00pm. The event will feature a DJ, professional dancers and of course live coverage of the Times Square celebration on the TV screens above the bar.
Over in Casino of the Wind, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville is joining the fun as well with a New Year’s Eve special that serves four Baked Stuffed Shrimp with a Portabella Parmesan Cream Rice and Green Beans and Lemon Butter Sauce. This dinner will be served at $27.95. At 10:00pm, the band KICK will be performing on the Margaritaville stage. Cover will be $10.00.
At Jasper White’s Summer Shack Express, guests can get a combo deal that includes a clam strip roll, soft drink and French Fries for $15.00.

On November 29th, celebrate the return of holiday décor inside our own winter wonderland
Dust off your holiday cheer and join Mohegan Sun in saying “season’s greetings” to the holidays! On Thursday, November 29th at The Shops at Mohegan Sun, come celebrate the return of Mohegan Sun’s World of Holiday Marvels as the property turns into a winter wonderland this November and December. Don’t miss out on our four-foot tall ornaments, “ice” creatures, Christmas trees and our newest “marvel,” a tree scene in the Hotel Lobby!
Starting at 6:00pm on Thursday, November 29th, holiday cookies, hot cocoa and hot cider will be available at the Gingerbread House located in the center of The Shops concourse. Bring the family and walk through this life-size, 28-foot masterpiece that includes a fireplace and 7-foot soldiers at each doorway. After, enjoy as Nutcracker ballerinas put on a performance for the crowd!
Then, at 7:00pm, watch on screens throughout The Shops concourse as the outdoor tree gets lit up for the first time this season!
During the night, let our labeled maps, available in The Shops concourse, take you on a self-guided tour of all of Mohegan Sun’s World of Holiday Marvels.
Throughout the month of November, Mohegan Sun will serve as a drop-off location for the “One Warm Coat” coat drive. Clean out your closets and drop off any unused coats at the Summer Coat Check throughout the month.
